‘Raw’ Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss Reveals Why She Dyes Her Hair Pink

Alexa Bliss is the reigning Women’s champion of Monday Night Raw, and she is one of the most popular female WWE superstars at the moment despite portraying a heel character. Bliss’ size and stature, as well as her looks, helped her got over the fans. Another trademark of Bliss is her pink hair, and she recently revealed the reason why she dyes her hair in that color.

In an interview with Scott Fishman of Channel Guide Magazine, Alexa Bliss was asked why her hair is dyed pink at the end. The four-time Women’s champion noted that the color represents her strong personality even though she has girly looks. Bliss also associated the color pink to cancer awareness and the WWE’s partnership with the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

“I think pink represents strength. It’s one of those colors that some people may perceive as girly, but I perceive it as strong and bold. I have pink hair, and I think it helps me stand out and be independent. It’s the perfect color to associate with any breast cancer survivor because they are all strong, bold and independent.”

Alexa Bliss was recently part of the WWE’s breast awareness campaign with the Susan G. Komen Foundation. She spent some time with several cancer survivors this past week, and it was a great experience for the Raw Women’s champion.

As reported by WWE.com, the WWE recently honored cancer survivors from all over the United States on Monday Night Raw. Dianne Primavera, Julie Zaveral, and Sherri Gold were presented by a custom Raw Women’s Championship by Dana Warrior and other female WWE superstars, including Alexa Bliss, Sasha Banks, Bayley, Nia Jax, and Mickie James.

Bliss told Channel Guide Magazine that the energy from the cancer survivors was very infectious. She was inspired by their strength and determination that allowed them to beat cancer. Bliss added that it was an amazing experience for her, and she is looking forward to doing more work like that in the future.

Other topics that were tackled in the interview with Alexa Bliss include her role with Total Divas and the program with Mickie James. Bliss is hoping that her appearance on Total Divas is going to help draw more casual fans to watch the WWE as a habit. The 26-year-old superstar was a guest in Season 6 but was promoted as one of the main casts for Season 7.
