WWE Rumors: The Miz Vs. Roman Reigns Could Settle Ongoing Match Wager

On Monday’s episode of WWE Raw, Roman Reigns will challenge The Miz in a huge match that could also pay out for some bettors. The match will be held for Miz’s WWE Intercontinental Championship and if Reigns wins, it would mark his first-ever reign with that particular belt. The latest contest could also set up a future reunion that fans are hoping for, and possibly settle an ongoing wager that has been floating around online for weeks now.

According to WWE Leaks, there are “Conqueror” betting odds for various WWE stars who are on a winning streak as of late. They include former WWE NXT Champion Asuka, current WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar, and “The Big Dog” Roman Reigns. The odds basically give a list of superstars who have the potential to hand another superstar their next loss or give betting odds for when a superstar’s next loss will occur.

The odds are offered through Kambi sports odds markets which include a variety of online sportsbooks such as Grosvenor Casinos, 888 Sport, Unibet, and the LeoVegas Casino. As of this report, the odds for Reigns to be defeated “Before WrestleMania 34” were at 1 to 4, while “During WrestleMania 34” was listed at 4 to 1. The option “On the first day after WrestleMania 34” was listed at 2 to 1 odds.

WWE The Miz could settle ongoing wwe betting odds

The big WWE Raw match tonight gives Reigns a shot at a new prize. Roman Reigns has yet to hold the WWE Intercontinental Championship during his career. A win (or loss) for Reigns could set up an eventual reunion between him and his former Shield buddies, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose. As they are holding the WWE Raw tag team championships, there have been WWE rumors that they’ll end up joining Reigns to fight against The Miz and his cronies, Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel.

There has been speculation that the big match could come at the next WWE pay-per-view, TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs 2017, or that WWE may go a different direction as far as who the trio will face. With that said, fans could also see a different ending to the WWE Raw match for the Intercontinental Championship, where Reigns is on the verge of winning only for Dallas and Axel to get involved for a beatdown. If another attack occurs similar to the steel chair assault on Reigns, that could lead to a save by Rollins and Ambrose.

Either way, Roman Reigns will probably lose a match at some point, and if WWE is looking to build him up for a future encounter with Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 34, fans would have to think the loss comes before that match. Whether it will be on tonight’s WWE Raw, or at a future time.

Will The Miz conquer Reigns on tonight’s episode of WWE Raw or will Reigns emerge as the new Intercontinental Champion?
