‘Boy Meets World’ Star, Danielle Fishel, Graduates College

Danielle Fishel is a college graduate. The former Boy Meets World and soon-to-be Girl Meets World star has graduated college at the age of 31.

Fishel writes on her Tumblr page that she went back to school four years ago. The former child star said that she was afraid of being the “old lady” in class but eventually decided that she wanted to get her degree.

Fishel writes:

“I was too afraid of being the old lady in class, of being whispered about, and especially of not remembering how to do simple math equations. After my 27th birthday, I made the decision to stop letting fear be a factor in fulfilling my dreams and living the life I wanted, so with a little encouragement from friends and family, I enrolled. And I went. I went every day and took copious notes and studied my little old lady heart out.”

Fishel said that she’s had a lot of great moments in her life but she was particularly proud of her college degree.

Fishel said:

“I am a very fortunate person and have been lucky to do many exciting things and to fulfill so many of my dreams but graduating from college is easily among my proudest achievements in life.”

It turns out that 2012 was a big year for Fishel. In addition to graduating college, Fishel has also been asked to reprise her role as Topanga in a new version of Boy Meets World.
