Lamora Williams Allegedly Killed Her Two Kids, Shared Sick Images With Father On Video Call

Lamora Williams allegedly killed her sons and showed the bodies to their father via video chat.

According to the Mail, the mother of three faces two murder counts in the deaths of her 1- and 2-year-old sons. A third child, age 3, survived the atrocity. The 24-year-old mother had alleged that she left the children home with an adult and returned to the Atlanta apartment at 11:30 p.m. She said she found her 1- and 2-year old kids dead and the third unresponsive.

Lamora told police that she had left her three sons in the care of a relative. An allegation neighbors quickly disputed, arguing that Lamora Williams did not leave anybody with the children.

The father of the kids, Jameel Penn, realized his boys were in trouble when Williams called him on video chat and panned across the room, showing the bodies of the kids on the floor. Penn called the police immediately.

However, the Atlanta Journal is reporting that Penn was not the first person Lamora called, but a longtime friend, Neesa Smith.

Neesa said her friend called her Friday night and when she asked what was wrong, Williams told her she could not do it anymore. When Smith prodded further, asking what she meant, Williams opened up about the atrocity that she had committed. The 24-year-old woman confessed that she had killed her sons.

Lamora Williams was arrested Saturday and charged in the deaths of her young kids who were found dead inside her southwest Atlanta residence. A police report revealed that the two dead boys had “received burn marks on their bodies.”

Unconfirmed reports are saying the Atlanta mom might have forced her kids into a burning oven. Investigators are treating the oven from the Oakland City West End apartment on Howell Place as a murder weapon.

Police found the boys after responding to a person injured call. Neighbors speaking to reporters revealed the apartment reeked of death, indicating that the bodies had been there for several days before they were discovered.

Family and friends described Lamora Williams as a benevolent woman who was overwhelmed by the pressures of life. One friend said Lamora, who had a fourth child, a six-year-old girl, was struggling to raise the kids all on her own. The friend, who did not want to be named, said Williams quit her job about a month ago because she could not find anyone to watch the kids.

A family relative said Lamora always had mental health problems that the state of Georgia did nothing about. Tabitha Hollingsworth said when Lamora was still in school, they tried to get her help from school officials who referred her to the state officials. Tabitha revealed that the Division of Family and Children Services failed to diagnose that Lamora had a mental disorder.

“Teachers would say something was wrong, but the state said nothing was wrong. This is something the state didn’t recognize. The whole state really failed us.”

Jameel Penn, speaking to WSBTV, recalled the gruesome scene Williams showed him via video call, calling it something straight of Friday the 13th. The distraught father holding his only surviving son in his arms said his soul had been eaten up by the tragedy.

Lamora Williams’ mother has asked for her daughter to be placed on suicide watch because it is highly likely she will try to kill herself while in confinement.
