Beyonce Posts First Snap Of Twins Sir And Rumi Carter [Photo]
Beyonce celebrated the first month of her twins by posting a photo of her with Sir and Rumi Carter. Interestingly, her husband and the twins’ father, JAY-Z, was not included in the photograph.
In the photo, the 35-year-old superstar singer and actress posed in her undies while cuddling the twins near her chest. Beyonce is wearing a voluminous floral off shoulder dress slightly parted in front showing her stomach and a portion of her blue lacy underwear. The mother of three is also seen wearing a light blue veil while the twins are covered by the ruffles on the sleeves of her dress. Behind Beyonce and the twins is an arch adorned with different kinds of flowers.
Beyonce included a simple caption with the photo to commemorate the first month since the celebrity babies were born.
“Sir Carter and Rumi 1 month today.”
Incidentally, Beyonce also confirmed the names of the twins in the photo. Beyonce has already filed documents to trademark the names of their twins at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office back in June. According to PEOPLE, the trademark should cover any use of the names Sir and Rumi Carter on products such as water bottles, tote bags, baby gear, cosmetics, and fragrances.
The Queen Bey seems to be following a certain theme for her shoots lately. A very pregnant Beyonce was also photographed in her blue underwear and a greenish see-through veil covering her face. Beyonce posed on her knees while holding her tummy for the said maternity photo. Just like in the new photo, Beyonce was shot surrounded by dozens of colorful flowers.
Rumi and Sir Carter were born on June 14 based on the photo’s caption. There were rumors that Beyonce and JAY-Z had the hospital floor where they were staying shut down for the birth of their twins. According to Inquisitr, Beyonce had the fifth floor of the UCLA Medical Center cleared a week prior to the arrival of the twins. This rumor has yet to be verified, however.

The power couple continued the celebration of the twin’s first month later that night by attending the listening event of Roc Nation’s Vic Mensa. Beyonce, who was wearing a white long-sleeved mini dress, was “all smiles” according to a person interviewed by PEOPLE who got a glimpse of the couple. The onlooker also said that Beyonce was hugging JAY-Z by his waist as they left the party.
The birth of Sir and Rumi brings the number of the Carter family members to five with five-year-old Blue Ivy already in tow. No word yet on when Beyonce will post a photo of her and the twins with JAY-Z and Blue Ivy or if it will carry the same floral theme as the other photos.
