Those Starbucks lovers who love fruit and iced tea are rejoicing that the company has announced “Free Tea Friday.” As seen in the below Instagram post from the official Starbucks account, “Free Tea Friday” occurs on Friday, July 14. However, “Free Tea Friday” doesn’t last all day Friday. Instead, folks who want to take advantage of promotion have to visit a participating Starbucks location on Friday, July 14, but only from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
That is the magic hour that Starbucks is giving away a 12-ounce, “tall” Teavana Shaken Iced Tea Infusion drink. And the offer is available “in-store only,” which could possibly mean that folks driving through the Starbucks drive-thru locations for their free Teavana Shaken Iced Tea Infusion drinks might be told to come inside.
Starbucks customers who are accustomed to using the Mobile Order & Pay feature won’t be able to do so with the free tea drink offer. And all those folks asking Starbucks if they can get multiple free drinks for their friends would do well to read the fine print, which states that the free tea offer is limited to “one per customer at participating stores.” And since supplies are limited, certain folks might discover that Starbucks has run out of free tea before long.
Starbucks has also noted that customizations are not included in their free tea offer, so those seeking to get a free tea with all the extra fixings, like shots of espresso or cream and the like will be out of luck.
However, those willing to play ball and try what Starbucks calls a bold new manner in which to flavor iced tea could fall in love with the Teavana Shaken Iced Tea Infusion. The iced tea concoctions are steeped with fruit, as well as other botanical blends and are slightly sweetened. Next, the iced teas are shaken with what Starbucks calls “the finest teas,” and that’s all.
The flavors to choose from for Starbucks free tea offering on Friday include Peach Citrus White Tea Infusion, Strawberry Green Tea Infusion, Pineapple Black Tea Infusion, Peach Citrus White Tea Infusion Lemonade, Strawberry Green Tea Infusion Lemonade, and Pineapple Black Tea Infusion Lemonade.
