Kris Jenner reportedly wants Kanye West to run for president because she knows just how much attention it would bring her family’s way.
With the way things had been going prior to the Rob and Chyna incident, Kris Jenner noticed a huge shift in the amount of attention the family had been getting; it was very little, a source shares.
Even the ratings for Keeping Up With the Kardashians have gone down, and now that the show is gearing up for its forthcoming series, Kris Jenner is once again trying to find ways to keep up appearances.
Aside from hoping that one of her kids ends up having a child or gets married, Hollywood Life says that Kris Jenner is sticking to Kanye’s word when saying that he wants to run for president in 2020.
Even if Kanye doesn’t win the campaign, just running for president would draw so much attention to the rapper and the Kardashians, that it couldn’t be a better way for Kris Jenner to continue promoting the brand she’s built over the last 10 years.
A source explains that by having West run for president, she will make endless headlines in the news, and while many of them could be negative, Kris Jenner seems to think that as long as the press is talking about her, it’s generating interest.
The insider continues to add that Kris Jenner feels as if she has already conquered everything there is; from launching mobile apps, beauty products, and more.
Her next move will be to not only help Kanye West win the election in 2020, but also market herself in ways that she hasn’t been able to do before.
As previously mentioned, Kris Jenner is gearing up to shoot the new season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, and according to reports, the recent drama between Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna will certainly be included in upcoming episodes.
It’s even being said that if Kanye makes it far into the election, Kris Jenner will also want to have the journey of West’s run for president documented for Kardashian fans.
Kanye has stayed quiet about his initial plans to run for president, so it’s unclear where his decision stands at this given point.
