‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Clues In Deimos’ Murder Lead To Xander, Who Is Behind Bars In Greece

Days of Our Lives fans know that Xander was just another of Deimos’ flunkies in his plan to reunite with Nicole. Deimos was the master of manipulation and evil schemes, eventually creating a long line of enemies that wanted him dead. It is no secret that Xander would not have missed an opportunity to settle his score.

As Hope, Rafe, Lani, and JJ continue to investigate the murder of Deimos, the tides start to shift. With Sonny in jail, having confessed to the murder and a witness confirming his role, the foursome work even harder to find the truth. Lani and JJ had come upon some potential clues. They found a girly magazine like the one that Xander had in Greece and a cell phone charger with his fingerprints on it. Of course, it could be planted evidence to mislead the Salem PD.

Xander is currently behind bars in Greece, and that has Hope and Rafe stumped. According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, the detectives ponder the possibility that Xander managed to escape prison, come to Salem to finish off Deimos, and return to prison unnoticed. If the Days of Our Lives thug had managed to escape, why would he have returned to prison instead of simply disappearing? With Deimos dead, he had no reason to continue to look over his shoulder.

As the evidence mounts, the Salem PD will put together a team to travel to Greece for answers. Xander will be intrigued by their visit and make it difficult for Hope and her comrades to know if he is telling the truth. Could he have made the trip to Salem with the intent to kill Deimos, but someone else had already plunged the knife into his chest? What if Xander is a witness to the crime and knows who the killer is?

No matter what the outcome on this twist, Ron Carlivati plans to run it for a while. As the new head writer, he is taking the storyline in a broader direction and promising more twists.
