Cho Tae Kwan Reveals Song Joong Ki Hinted Romance With Song Hye Kyo During ‘Dots’ Filming

Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo shocked the world when they all of a sudden revealed that they were tying the knot soon. Shippers were still waiting for the Descendants of the Sun co-stars to admit their relationship status at the time, but the South Korean power couple skipped all the romance drama and went straight to marriage news.

Although their fans were hoping that Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo will take their working relationship to the next level, they were still shocked as to how this all went down. Now, one of their Descendants of the Sun co-stars has spoken up and shared the moment when he noticed that the pair might be more than just friends.

Cho Tae Kwan (or Jasper Cho), who played the role of Daniel Spencer on the hit South Korean television series, recently talked about the upcoming marriage of his DOTS co-stars. Kwan shared that there was a time when their director told Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo to act like they have genuine feelings for each other. The 31-year-old actor then allegedly responded that it’s just easy for him and his on-screen love to do that.

“At the time, I didn’t know they were dating but I heard the director telling them to really try liking each other with sincere feelings. In response, Joong Ki told him, ‘We’re already doing well on our own.’ Now I think of it, they really were doing well on their own.”

Meanwhile, Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo were known for keeping their personal lives as private as possible. But after the announcement of their marriage, the couple is definitely not shying away from sharing their feelings for each other anymore.

The Battleship Island actor recently pointed out some of the positive traits of his fiancée. Song Joong Ki shared that Song Hye Kyo is a good role model and praised her for teaching him a lot of things.

The 35-year-old actress, on the other hand, shared that she and Song Joong Ki have so many similar aspects that they quickly bonded while working together in Descendants of the Sun. The star also revealed that after knowing the actor on a deeper level, she knew that he was the one for her.

Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo were heavily shipped after viewers noticed their undeniable chemistry in the mega-successful Korean drama. Now, fans of the couple are finally celebrating that their favorite stars will be heading down the aisle this fall.
