Jill Duggar Dillard And Baby Sam’s Lack Of Public Photos Sparks Health Worries, Hysterectomy Fears Among Fans

It has already been days since the Duggar and Dillard families announced the successful delivery of baby Samuel, Jill Duggar Dillard and husband Derick’s second child. Despite this, however, the ever-growing family has only released one photo of the newborn baby to date. Jill, who ended up getting another C-section after a long and arduous labor, has not been featured in any images at all since she gave birth.

The absence of any update on Jill and Sam’s condition since the Duggar daughter’s operation has managed to get many of the family’s followers extremely worried. In the Duggar Family Official Facebook page alone, speculations have begun to emerge among fans that Jill might have experienced some complications during Samuel’s delivery.

Jill’s health, in particular, has been a huge point of interest among fans, especially since the reality TV star has undergone a long, 40-hour labor and a C-section to give birth to a huge 22-inch, 9-lb baby boy. Considering the experience that Jill had gone through just a few days ago, it would not be a surprise if the Duggar daughter would wish to stay away from cameras and social media for the meantime.

The fact that Jill’s recent birth was her second C-section in two years has also caused some apprehension among Counting On fans online. Some of the family’s followers, writing in the official Counting On subreddit, have even suggested that Jill might have undergone a hysterectomy after giving birth to baby Samuel.

One particular Redditor has noted that the absence of additional photographs since Samuel’s birth is very unusual for the Duggars since the family usually provides constant social media updates whenever something significant happens. The fact that there were no references to Samuel’s birth at all in the recent Counting On episode is also rather strange.

“I thought they were holding off so they could air them on the episode but there was no announcement or congratulation videos on the show either. Suspicious. Hopefully, Jill didn’t hemorrhage and need (sic) a hysterectomy or something. That’s the only reason I can think of.”

Concerns about the mother and child’s health were sparked after Samuel’s first public photo was shared by his father Derick on Instagram. In the image, baby Samuel was hooked up to several types of medical equipment, including a heart rate monitor, oxygen and an IV line. While the picture did spark significant concern among the family’s fans, however, Derick has assured his followers in the social media platform that both Jill and Sam are healthy and doing fine.

“Jill and I are so blessed to welcome our second child, Samuel Scott Dillard! 9 lbs 10 oz and 22 in long! Mom and baby Sam are doing well! Thank you to those who have been supporting us through your prayers and encouragement!”

While Jill and baby Samuel’s health remains a mystery for now, supporters of the iconic conservative family could rest assure that both mother and child are probably not suffering from anything severe or life-threatening. If this were the case, the family, led by Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, would likely be asking their followers in social media for help in the form of prayers. So far, this has not happened; thus, there is a good chance that the reality TV star and her new child are just waiting for the right time to reveal themselves to the public.
