‘DOOL’ Spoilers: Olivia Rose Keegan On How Sex Tape Will Continue To Affect Claire Brady
Days Of Our Lives fans remember when Jade Michaels (Gabrielle Haugh) secretly filmed a sex tape of Claire Brady and Theo Carver (Kyler Pettis). In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, Olivia Rose Keegan discussed the storyline. Even though the sex tape happened several weeks ago, it will continue to affect Claire, but not in the way that viewers think.

Jade recording Theo and Claire having sex led to consequences for the couple. Everyone automatically assumed that Claire made the tape in an attempt to become famous. However, that was not true at all. In fact, when Jade suggested it, Claire was horrified and disgusted. Even her boyfriend, Theo, accused her of making the sex tape and it led to their breakup.
Even though some time has passed and it hasn’t been mentioned lately, Claire will continue to deal with the aftermath of Jade’s actions. Olivia Rose Keegan explained that Claire will deal with trouble due to how others think of her.
“It’s tricky, because Claire is kind of like the little girl who cried wolf. She has expressed her frustration that her music career is going nowhere. People mistake her intense passion for selfishness. When the tape happened, Claire’s family and friends automatically assumed Claire would be that girl to make a sex tape to further her career. She’s going to be dealing with trouble realizing that people think of her in that way.”
Before the sex tape on Days Of Our Lives, Claire was confident and determined to be a singer. Realizing how others think of her is probably going to affect her self-esteem.
Fans can already see a glimpse of that. At the hospital, Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) tried talking to the college student. Even though Claire didn’t reveal what was really bothering her, viewers assumed it was the breakup. However, Claire is more troubled that her friends and family actually believed she would do something so desperate and damaging.
Sneak peek photos show Claire having trouble at her new job. She drops things and has become a bit clumsy. Although it was teased she will have a bad day at work, she is obviously preoccupied. Knowing how little others think of her bothers Claire. As she explained to Theo, if the same thing happened to Ciara Brady (Vivian Jovanni), the reactions would have been completely different.
Claire is going to have to do something to get her confidence back. At the same time, she wants her loved ones to think better of her. Will she focus on making good choices and letting others see her mature? Or will she do something drastic that might make the problem worse?
