Trouble In Paradise? Barack Obama Reportedly Spotted Without Michelle Or His Wedding Ring
Barack Obama recently enjoyed a trip without his wife, Michelle, or their daughters, Malia, 19, and Sasha, 16. The former president was spotted taking a break in Anchorage Alaska and he wasn’t even wearing his wedding ring. Are things starting to fall apart for Barack and Michelle?
According to Radar Online, an onlooker named Jolene Jackinsky snapped a few photos with Barack at the airport in Anchorage, Alaska. Jackinsky says Barack was super friendly and was perfectly at ease with just the secret service at his side. In fact, Jackinsky didn’t even notice the absent wedding ring until after the encounter.
“It was just him and his secret service,” she stated. “He was a very friendly, down to earth person. There were no signs of distress or anger or anything.”
Barack and Michelle have been married since 1992 and have never showed any signs of marital woes. Barack even joked about his ideal marriage after he left office and thanked Michelle for sticking with him all of these years.
“I also want to thank Michelle Obama for, after the presidency, sticking with me!” he shared. “I think she felt an obligation to the country to stay on, but once her official duties were over, it wasn’t clear.”
Refinery reports that Jackinsky’s encounter with Barack Obama was about as perfect as it gets. Jackinsky recognized Barack right off the bat, but he initiated the conversation once he noticed Jackinsky’s adorable six-month-old child, Giselle. The two talked for around five minutes about parenting and how fast children grow up. Before he left, Barack agreed to take a selfie with the couple, which eventually made its way online.
“It was only five minutes but it was a moment that will last forever,” she stated. “I think it’s unreal and pretty exciting that I get to have a picture with him and my baby. Not a lot of people get to meet him.”
Barack has not commented on the rumors surrounding his marriage and it is unclear why he was in Alaska without the family or his wedding ring. While we wait to learn more, Vogue reports that the Obamas recently enjoyed a family vacation in Bali. The family of four took in the sights of Tampaksiring Village and the rice terraces in Jatiluwih on their whirlwind sightseeing tour.
Naturally, the Obamas also showcased their knack for style during the vacation. Barack donned blue jeans and an assortment of polos while Michelle rocked casual sportswear. The girls, meanwhile, kept things low-key with a few patterned dresses and coordinated accessories. Based on outside appearance, the family looked as happy as ever while they toured Indonesia and showed no signs of relationship troubles.
The reports of marital problems first surfaced after Barack Obama was seen eyeing a college graduate back in 2014.
