Taylor Swift Applies Lessons From Calvin Harris’ Ugly Breakup To Boyfriend Joe Alwyn

Taylor Swift has learned a lot from her past relationships. She has dated some of the most famous actors and musicians in Hollywood – namely Tom Hiddleston, Calvin Harris, Jake Gyllenhaal – and she has learned a lot of lessons. Now that she is in a new relationship with Joe Alwyn, a British actor, it looks like she wants to keep her personal matters closer to heart.

With the rest of her boyfriends, she has been pretty loose about keeping their privacy. Especially with her relationship with Calvin Harris, she has attended music awards together, and openly spoke about him in the media.

However, with her new boyfriend, Taylor wants to keep journalists as far away as possible.

“Taylor has been insanely private about her relationship with Joe,” a source said according to People Magazine. “She wanted to get to know him without any chaos. She has learned from the past.”

In fact, the 27-year-old singer is so protective of this relationship that she may have cancelled her famous Fourth of July Bash with her squad. Taylor is well known for her patriotic parties, which involved bouncy castles, matching red-white-blue swimsuits, and having Hollywood A-listers party themselves to fatigue at her Rhode Island mansion.

Leading up to the first weekend of July, there has been “unconfirmed reports of Swift’s private plane leaving London and landing in Rhode Island with Swift and Alwyn aboard,” according to the magazine, but Joe and Taylor has not been seen together in any of her major destinations.

This year, if there was a party, not a single picture has been posted on her Instagram this year. Even the fans, who have made signs for her and taken them up on the nearest lighthouse, did not witness any festivities going on in her yard.

In general, Shake It Off singer has been much less active on Instagram. In the last five months, she only posted to promote HAIM and Lorde’s new songs and albums. They have been an important part of her squad over the years.

Considering how she used to fill her feed with selfies, pictures with her squad, and performances, this definitely shows a change in the songstress’ ways.
