Selena Gomez Debuts New Song ‘Fetish’ On Twitter And Instagram, Read The Lyrics Here
Selena Gomez’s new single, “Fetish,” will be released on Thursday, July 13, and ahead of the song’s official debut, the singer has taken to Twitter and Instagram with a teaser clip.
In her latest post on Twitter, the 24-year-old singer and actress posted a 16-second video of what appeared to be a clip from her upcoming music video for “Fetish,” which included a number of the lyrics from her latest track.
In the clip, Selena Gomez sings, “Take it or leave it. Baby, take it or leave it. But I know you won’t leave it, because I know that you need it. Look in the mirror. When I look in the mirror, baby I see it clearer why you want to be nearer.”
Selena Gomez has been teasing her new track for the past several days and confirmed the single’s July 13 release date with fans on Twitter last week.
Prior to “Fetish,” Selena Gomez released “Bad Liar” and proceeded to share a number of updates with fans on the song. She also shared a number of photos and video clips from the track’s music video, which features the singer acting out each character’s role.
Although Selena Gomez continues to release new music, a potential release date for a new album has not yet been confirmed.
Selena Gomez began working on her new album early last year as she embarked on her Revival World Tour. However, after experiencing struggles with anxiety, depression, and panic attacks, she confirmed to People magazine that she was canceling her tour and taking some time off to get her mental health to a better place.
After canceling her Revival World Tour, Selena Gomez remained out of the spotlight for a few months before making her return at the 2016 American Music Awards in Los Angeles.
Since then, Selena Gomez has been working on her new music and producing the Netflix series 13 Reasons Why. She’s also been enjoying her new romance with The Weeknd and traveled to a number of countries with him as he continues with his Starboy: Legend of the Fall Tour.
Selena Gomez began dating the “Earned It” singer earlier this year, and on January 10, they confirmed their romance with a joint outing in Santa Monica, California.
