Will The New Member Of ‘RHOC’ Fit In? Peggy Joins The Cast
As Bravo’s Real Housewives of Orange County sets its season premiere date for tonight, July 10 at 9 p.m., many are wondering about the new girl, Peggy Sulahian, and how well she will fit it. In fact, according to Bravo, she often finds it hard to communicate well with the other housewives.
Peggy Sulahian was born in Kuwait and has lived in the United States since she was a year old. She is married to Diko, who is a VIP business man selling custom wheels and rims for high-end vehicles. She has three children and is used to being around celebrities through her husband’s business. Even with that kind of background, she may be up for a challenge getting along with the other housewives. People who know her have called her a spitfire and feisty, so it will be interesting to see how things play out.
In the past, it seemed that most of the cast members of the show were in some way connected to each other. Either long-time friends or acquaintances, in the past you had connections that were years in the making. However, according to a couple of RHOC insiders, Peggy Sulahian may have had her introduction to the show by being at the right place at the right time.
Most fans of the show will recall the 1970s party where Shannon and Kelly got into a major argument, and like with any episode, it trickled down to the other members until much of the cast were at war with one another. Supposedly, a friend of Shannon’s at the party, Jaci, is the one who set things up between Peggy and the producers of RHOC, and if this is true, it may cause problems right from the start because Kelly may take issue with that. It certainly would not surprise anyone since Kelly can come off quite volatile and this is just the fuel she needs — fans will have to watch and see. Peggy has been posting about the show recently.

The other thing that is quite different with Peggy from the rest of the cast is that Peggy is supposedly not too media shrewd. While she has Instagram and Twitter, her posts are few and far between, or at least they were up until she announced her new gig with The Real Housewives of Orange County. This certainly isn’t a deal-breaker when it comes to fans falling in love with the new cast member, but it could very well be a whole new world for Peggy if she is not used to the way that fans can be and how to handle her new fame.
