Lydia McLaughlin Thanks Husband For Support Ahead Of ‘Real Housewives Of Orange County’ Season 12 Premiere
Lydia McLaughlin is preparing for tonight’s Real Housewives of Orange County premiere and as she nears her Bravo return, she’s thanking her husband for his support.
Hours before the first episode of Season 12, the 36-year-old took to Instagram and shared a photo of her husband Doug. In the caption, she thanked him for his love and support.
“I am so thankful for @ocdoug and the love and support he gives me. Tomorrow we are back on [The Real Housewives of Orange County] and it’s a wild ride. So grateful to be on this adventure with this man,” she wrote on July 9.
Lydia McLaughlin and her husband Doug have been married for 11 years and share three children, Stirling, 8, Maverick, 6, and Roman, 2.
Lydia McLaughlin first joined the cast of The Real Housewives of Orange County during its eighth season. However, after spending just months in production with her co-stars, including Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Judge, McLaughlin left the show along with a couple of other cast members, including Alexis Bellino and Gretchen Rossi.
During Season 9, Bravo TV brought new cast members Shannon Beador and Lizzie Rovsek to the show to replace Lydia McLaughlin and her former co-stars. Then, ahead of Season 12, McLaughlin opted to rejoin the show, despite the craziness she endured during Season 8.
During an interview with Us Weekly magazine on Sunday, Lydia McLaughlin opened up about her Season 12 return to The Real Housewives of Orange County and admitted that she was well-aware of what she was returning to the second time around.
“The first time I could play dumb and say I didn’t know what to expect, but this time I knew what it was like, and I still went for it,” Lydia McLaughlin admitted to Us Weekly on July 9.
Lydia McLaughlin went on to reveal that she would often come home to her husband Doug after filming the show and say, “Today was the craziest day ever! I can’t believe any of this happened!”
According to Lydia McLaughlin, the 12th season of The Real Housewives of Orange County will include huge personalities and shifting friendships among the women, which will make for the best season yet.
