Camilla Parker-Bowles Trying To Change History Ahead Of Princess Diana’s 20th Death Anniversary?

Camilla Parker-Bowles is being accused of trying to change history to win the hearts of the people through the release of her biography, The Duchess: The Untold Story. The release of the biography, which includes a detailed account of Charles and Diana’s relationship, comes a few weeks before the 20th death anniversary of Princess Diana.

Many people are reacting negatively to the details being released from Camilla Parker-Bowles’ biography, The Duchess: The Untold Story, written by Penny Junor. Per Celeb Dirty Laundry, several critics think that the biography is Camilla’s attempt to change the people’s opinion of her by citing a different angle to what is known of Prince Charles and Princess Diana’s relationship.

The said biography of the Duchess of Cornwall explained that Charles and Camilla cut off their ties from each other once Charles was set to marry Diana. Camilla reportedly knew how painful it is for a woman to find out that her husband is having an affair, and thus, chose to keep a healthy distance from Charles. Camilla’s biography insists that Charles tried to live a happy life with Diana, but the Princess of Wales was too obsessed and jealous of Charles and Camilla’s past.

The publication notes that Camilla’s biography seemingly tries to change what is known of the controversial love triangle between her, Diana, and Charles. However, her alleged attempts to win the public’s sympathy appear to be futile, as many do not believe most of what was written on the biography.

In a review by The Australian, the author stated that Camilla’s biography shatters the British royal family once again, the same as when Charles admitted to his affair with Camilla in 1994. Diana has also made it clear in earlier interviews that she and Charles were unable to live a happy married life because “there were three of us in this marriage.”

The biography offers an interesting new take on Charles, Diana, and Camilla’s love triangle, but many critics believe that its release is a disrespect to Diana, whose 20th death anniversary is coming in a few weeks’ time. Many people also feel sorry for Diana’s sons, William and Harry, for having to hear such stories of their mother at such a delicate time.

What do you think of Camilla Parker-Bowles’ biography? Is she trying to win the public’s sympathy by rewriting the history on her infamous love triangle with Prince Charles and Princess Diana?
