‘Below Deck’ Emergency: Captain Lee Rushed Into Surgery, Is He Okay?
Below Deck star Captain Lee was rushed into an emergency surgery in Flordia. Will the Bravo star be okay?
Surgery will leave him “good as new”
Captain Lee Rosbach, 67, checked into DPI of North Broward, Florida, on July 6 for surgery, Radar Online reported.
The Below Deck star said that he was “ready for surgery” and that in a couple of hours, he would be “as good as new.”
An hour later he tweeted to his fans that it was “almost time for the happy gas.”
Captain Lee declined to say what he what the surgery would address.
The Bravo reality star shot his interview scenes for Season 5 of Below Deck last week, which he posted a photo of to his Instagram.
Season 5 is in the works
Rosbach was one of the only Below Deck cast members to return to the show for Season 5. Co-stars Kate Chastain and Nico Scholly started filming for the new season back in February.
One of the new cast members from Season 4, Kyle Dixon, will reportedly join the crew in St. Maarten toward the end of the season.
Captain Lee’s surgery was not the only crisis Below Deck has had this season. A Bravo production boat for the show also sank a few months ago.

Below Deck Med does things “differently”
The Below Deck star couldn’t help but give the Below Deck Mediterranean cast a few pointers on Twitter recently, even telling Bobby that he was “still thinking with the wrong head.”
Bobby, still thinking with the wrong head. Day 1, really?

The yacht captain also criticized the chef on charter, Adam, for “wearing an apron while meeting the guests for the first time.”
The chef is wearing an apron while meeting the guests for the first time. Hope its clean. Just saying.

Good looking plates Chef. But I would lose the apron on guest arrival. But thats just me.

Captain Lee also threw some shade at the Below Deck Mediterranean’s female captain, Sandy, saying he wouldn’t have been giving a tender lesson while the guests were on board waiting for their food.
Were doing a tender lesson while guests are waiting on food. Hmmmmm….

Although, the Bravo star did end his short rant by saying that he would not “second-guess” the Below Deck Mediterranean cast’s decisions and that they just “do things differently.”
