A new report suggests that Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson are under major pressure to get married and settle down, and that the pressure is coming from none other than Khloe’s older sister, Kim Kardashian. And while the report claims that the Cleveland Cavaliers power forward is having it up to here with Kim K’s purported pushy behavior, while also avoiding the Kardashian family in general, a separate account suggests that the above rumors aren’t the least bit true.
In Touch Weekly cited a source close to the Kardashian family in its report on Wednesday, which suggests that Kim Kardashian is applying a lot of pressure on Tristan Thompson to propose to Khloe, on account of the latter’s desire to settle down and start a family.
As In Touch Weekly noted, Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson have been dating since September, and in Khloe’s words, the couple would like to have “five or six kids” together, as they are serious on starting a family. Prior to her relationship with Thompson, Khloe was married to another NBA power forward, Lamar Odom, from 2009 to 2016. The couple didn’t have any children together.
If the above report is to be believed, Thompson hasn’t been taking Kim Kardashian’s alleged prodding too well, as he has been supposedly avoiding his girlfriend’s family as of late, for unspecified reasons.
“Tristan was floored, especially since he hasn’t spent a lot of time with the Kardashian family — on purpose,” the publication wrote.
“Kim was just looking out for Khloe, but her pushiness may have only made things worse.”
On the other hand, other sources claim that there is no truth to the rumor that Kim Kardashian wants Tristan Thompson to propose to Khloe or “get lost.” A report from Gossip Cop suggests that Kim does want her sister and her partner to be happy, but isn’t really dead-set on the couple getting married at at the soonest possible time. The publication also called back to an earlier report it published, where it wrote in October 2016 that Khloe and Tristan were not just engaged, but also planning to get married early in 2017, a timeframe that has since passed.
As for the claim that Tristan has been avoiding the Kardashians in recent times, the Inquisitr did write about the family being present earlier this week, as he and Khloe threw a Fourth of July party where everyone in attendance “seemed to have a great time celebrating.”
Readers, do you believe that Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson should get married sooner rather than later, or do you think they should take their time and tie the knot only when the time is right?
