Does ‘RHOA’ Want Kenya Moore Fired If New Husband Marc Daly Can’t Join The Show?

Rumors of Real Housewives of Atlanta producers wanting Kenya Moore fired have been swirling in recent days. The latest on that front appears to be an ultimatum reportedly given to her — have her husband Marc Daly join the show, or get sacked like Phaedra Parks was in May.

According to a new report from TMZ, RHOA producers don’t believe that Kenya may last much longer on the show if she isn’t able to bring her marriage to Daly to the TV screen. But that’s where the problem lies, said the publication’s unnamed production sources — Marc, a former banker, is adamant about not joining the male cast of Real Housewives of Atlanta, as he feels that the Bravo reality series doesn’t look favorably toward African-American men.

With Kenya Moore’s firing looming on the horizon, as reports allege, TMZ notes that she respects her husband’s refusal to join RHOA, as she was the one originally hired to appear on the show, and not Marc Daly, whom she married just last month. As the 46-year-old Moore has waited her entire life for a “loving relationship” like the one she has with Daly, she doesn’t want to put her marriage on the line by forcing Marc to do something he doesn’t want to do.

Still, TMZ’s sources claim that RHOA producers are unmoved by her request — the ultimatum remains in place that Kenya Moore will be fired if Marc Daly doesn’t join the cast.

The new rumors come just days after a separate report from Radar Online claimed that Real Housewives of Atlanta producers weren’t happy with Kenya’s “secret wedding” to Marc, due to the possibility that it may “put the authenticity of the series in jeopardy.” And with Moore reportedly not having any other storylines in place for the show’s upcoming 10th season, Radar speculated that the Moore-Daly nuptials may have left her on thin ice, as far as RHOA Season 10 is concerned.

Aside from the possibility that a refusal to bring her new husband on board to the show could lead to Kenya Moore being fired from Real Housewives of Atlanta, TMZ brought up another issue that may leave her status for Season 10 in doubt – the claim that she’s currently under a lot of stress while trying to get pregnant. According to the publication, Kenya has been receiving IVF treatments as she and Marc Daly try to have their first baby, and stress could “decrease the likelihood of success.”
