Jennifer Lawrence Named ‘Most Desirable Woman’ Of The Year

Jennifer Lawrence was named the Most Desirable Woman of the year on the annual AskMen’s list of 99 most wanted women in the world. The 22-year-old jumped 46 spots from where she was placed on the list last year, according to the New York Post.

AskMen Editor in Chief James Bassil had this to say during an interview with Reuters:

“Overall, there’s a sense that she’s a little more authentic than other actors.”

Mila Kunis, Kate Upton, Rihanna, and Emma Stone made it into the top five on the Most Desirable Women list. Last year Sofia Vergara won top honors, this year she is came in the number 12 position. More than one million readers voted for the woman they found the most enticing. Respondents were asked whether they would date each woman based on factors other than their physical appearance.

Jennifer Lawrence also had a stunning year at the box office with leading roles in both The Hunger Games and Silver Linings Playbook. According to a review of the survey results, men are most attracted to strong independent women.

Claire Danes earned a spot on the list for the first time this year, coming in at the number 20 position. Youth is apparently not a deciding factor for the AskMen Most Desirable Women voters. Both First Lady Michelle Obama and Yahoo! CEO Marissa Mayer also found spot on the list.

Kim Kardashian’s appeal to AskMen readers dropped significantly this year. She was ranked in the top 10 in 2011 but nearly fell off the list entirely this year. The Keeping Up with The Kardashian’s reality show celebrity was ranked in the number 98 slot on the Most Desirable Women list.
