Kylie Jenner’s New Cosmetics Collection Surprisingly Does Not Sell Out On First Day

Kylie Jenner launched on Thursday what she called her favorite cosmetics collection so far, but it seems fans did not rush to buy the new products. Over 24 hours after the release, half of the items are still available. This is good news for those waiting to purchase cosmetics from the Vacation Edition, but not such great news for Jenner.

The 19-year-old has seen major success with her Kylie Cosmetics line as most new products sell out within minutes of hitting the website. However, that does not seem to be the case with her summer line. In fact, Kylie took to Instagram Thursday evening to tell her followers some things are still available.

Jenner also informed her fans this collection is a limited time offer and she may not be restocking. Most Kylie Cosmetics fans know the teen mogul routinely brings back limited edition products due to high demand, but that may not be the case with the Vacation collection.

“My one time only limited edition #VacationEdition collection dropped today on KylieCosmetics.com some things are still available…”

Kylie even added the phrase “one time only” to her caption to really put the pressure on those wanting products from her still-available summer line. While all of the lipsticks and glosses are still in stock, Jenner’s Vacation Edition did sell out some of the other products.

The first to sell out was the $250 bundle, which includes all of the summer items. The $62 Wet Set and $14 loose highlighters also went quickly, followed by the Take Me On Vacation Kyshadow palette. But fans can still get their hands on the new matte lip kit, June Bug, and both the matte and velvet sets of Send Me More Nudes lipsticks.

Despite half of the items still being available, fans have already asked Kylie if she plans on restocking the rest of the Vacation Edition. It seems the highlighters had major appeal to Jenner’s fan base as people are already asking for more only one day after the release. Kylie does respond to requests, though, as proved by past restocks.

The cosmetics mogul restocked both the Koko Kollection and the limited edition KKW collection after fans repeatedly asked for another chance to purchase the sets. Perhaps Jenner will even make some of her Vacation line permanent if demand continues.

PopSugar reported on the summer products as the site told its readers they would become “re-addicted” to Kylie Cosmetics after seeing the line. The article addressed the popular highlighters as they were some of the first items to sell out.

“Are you a highlighter hoarder? This collection is for you.”

Fans left comments on the Kylie Cosmetics Instagram page as they asked when Jenner plans to restock the sold-out items.

“Does anyone know when the restock will be?”

It appears people believe Kylie will bring back the popular products despite her claiming it’s a “one time only” release. Then again, she may have only said that to increase the demand on the items that have yet to sell out.
