Taylor Swift’s new romance with Joe Alwyn is getting serious ahead of her plans to release her new album later this year, it’s been revealed.

Now that Taylor Swift has reportedly finished recording her new record in Nashville, the singer has had plenty of time getting to know her new beau a little better, who she has been seeing for the past month.

Though sources initially claimed that Taylor Swift and Joe were nothing more than friends, that quickly changed when the duo was seen holding hands as they arrived at the home of Swift’s parents.

It’s believed that Alwyn has already been introduced to Taylor’s family, despite the fact that they have only been seeing one another for a couple of weeks. From what a close insider has told Hollywood Life, Joe made a great impression on Taylor’s friends and family — they think he’s the perfect guy for her.

And while everything is still fresh between Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn, the two have bonded on a very personal level, and though the “Shake It Off” singer will soon be heading on the road to begin her promotional duties for her new album, she’s planning to spend the next couple of weeks focusing on her new relationship.

She’s totally smitten by her lover, a source tells Hollywood Life, adding that as the days go by, she continues to get to know her beau even better on a personal level. Taylor Swift is completely blown away by his good looks, his great personality, and his kind heart.

“They have no plans to go public for the foreseeable future,” a source shares.

“Taylor is enjoying getting to know Joe out of the spotlight, without all the pressure, speculation, and conjecture that usually surround her relationships. As for Joe, he doesn’t want to be thrust into the spotlight purely on the basis of being Taylor’s boyfriend. His career is taking off right now and he wants to be known for his successes.”

Regarding Taylor Swift’s new album, the songstress spent months in Nashville working with multiple producers in the hopes of getting the record out before the year’s end.

From what’s been gathered, it looks as if a release date is still expected, but it’s just unclear when Taylor Swift’s record label will make the announcement. One thing that is clear, however, is that the 27-year-old will be debuting the first single in the next couple of weeks, marking a new chapter of the singer’s life.

Though Taylor Swift will be gearing up to promote the new album later this year, she loves the fact that she has a lot of free time right now to see where her romance with Joe Alwyn takes her. It seems as if she’s definitely hoping the relationship will last longer than her previous ones.
