Melania Trump Reportedly Has Designer Clothes Delivered Daily, Will This Continue At The White House?

Despite receiving a backlash from the designer community, First Lady Melania Trump hasn’t had any problems finding suitable clothes. Instead, it sounds like Melania had more outfits than she could handle while she stayed at Trump Tower. Will this continue once she’s settled in the White House?

According to the Hollywood Reporter, top notch designers from around the world sent Melania clothes on a daily basis. This includes a $50,000 jacket she wore in Italy from Dolce & Gabbana and a jumpsuit from Stella McCartney she donned in Saudi Arabia. Although some designers, such as Tom Ford, Sophie Theallet, and Christian Siriano, vowed to boycott Melania after Donald Trump won the presidency, the wardrobe boxes have been flooding in at Trump Tower.

In fact, AOL reports that Melania changed outfits three to four times every day during her foreign tour with Donald last month. With Melania looking gorgeous every time she steps out in public, the fashion world is starting to take notice. But will she keep receiving free clothes every day in Washington?

“Fashion people are fickle and fake,” fashion expert Phillip Bloch explained. “They are starting to see she is a beautiful woman who is married to the president, and it is an honor to dress her.”

Melania Trump remained at Trump Tower during the first few months of her husband’s presidency. The unusual move forced Melania to take a step back from the traditional responsibilities of the first lady. It also sparked a number of rumors concerning the state of her marriage with Donald. Fortunately for the Trumps, Town and Country Magazine reports that she has officially moved into the White House with her son, Barron.

“It’s official! @FLOTUS & Barron have made the move to DC! #WelcomeHome,” Melania’s rep, Stephanie Grisham, shared.

A new location might mean a change in Melania’s style. Insiders claim that Melania will change her wardrobe to blend into the Washington scene. There’s no telling what this change will entail, but it will likely include a more elegant and modern style than we’ve seen so far.

“Herve Pierre did her inauguration dress and the two of them are huddling to do more elegant gowns for entertaining in the White House,” an insider revealed. “She wants her dresses modern, sleek, and form fitting.”

It’s unclear if Melania’s barrage of free clothing will continue, but she will be making a few changes now that she’s in Washington. This includes hiring a few new staff members for the East Wing. Melania currently has around four advisors, which a significant decrease when compared to Michelle Obama’s nineteen or Laura Bush’s eighteen.

Melania Trump has not responded to the reports surrounding her wardrobe.
