Britney Spears Forgets Where She Is In Seriously Awkward Concert Video

Britney Spears got herself into a pretty awkward situation while on stage during a stop on her Asian tour.

In a new video posted by a fan who attended Spears’ stop in Taipei, Taiwan, on June 13, Britney can be heard admitting that she has no idea where she is and even had to ask a dancer live on stage where she was performing.

The seriously awkward footage uploaded online by a fans shows Britney attempting to get the attention of a dancer named Willie as he walks away from the stage when it comes time to address the crowd.

Spears could be heard repeatedly shouting “Willie, Willie, Willie” before she then confirmed that she didn’t know where she was by loudly blurted out through her live microphone, “Where are we?,” which caused some pretty shocked reactions from the crowd.

Making things even worse for the star, the dancer could then be heard mumbling and stuttering as he attempted to remember exactly where Spears was performing that night which left Britney no choice but to address her Taiwanese fans in a more general way.

Rather than shouting out the name of the city while performing, Britney instead asked the audience in Taipei, “How’re you guys doing?” before launching into her 2007 single “Break The Ice.”

Notably, Spears is more used to being stationary and having her fans come to her when it comes to her concerts.

The star has been in Las Vegas performing her “Britney: Piece of Me” residency shows at The AXIS at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino since December 2013, but now has shows scheduled across the Philippines, Thailand, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Israel until early July.

It’s thought that Spears will then extend her shows internationally and could take her tour around Europe and South America.

Spears’ mini tour in Asia marks the first time the pop star has left the U.S. for a string of shows since she toured the globe on her “Femme Fatale Tour” in 2011, which means it’s pretty understandable she’s a little confused when it comes to exactly where she’s performing.

Britney has also made no secret of the fact that she doesn’t necessarily have the best memory.

Last year, Spears made headlines for forgetting that she’d met fellow popstar Taylor Swift on at least two occasions and instead said during a radio interview with KIIS that she’d like to meet the star.

“I’ve never met her before,” the “Slumber Party” singer said of Taylor at the time, despite the two being photographed together on two occasions.

Britney then had another slip of the mind in December 2016 after she forgot that her iconic phrase “It’s Britney, b***” began way back in 2007 with the release of her single “Gimme More.”

As reported by Us Weekly, Spears forgot that she’d actually coined the phrase years earlier and instead claimed that it originated in 2012 during her “Scream & Shout” duet with Will.I.Am.

“I really don’t remember,” Britney admitted at the time when asked how the now iconic phrase originated. “I think we were in the studio, and me and [Will.I.Am] were just playing and it came out.”
