Could Brad Pitt and his ex-girlfriend, Gwyneth Paltrow, be headed for a reconciliation?
Earlier this month, the actress held a Q&A session on her Facebook page and during the live broadcast, she responded to a fan who wanted to know if she would consider getting back together with Brad Pitt now that his estranged wife, Angelina Jolie, has filed for divorce.
“Someone wants to know if Brad Pitt and I should get back together,” Gwyneth Paltrow announced during the live chat, according to a report by the Daily Mail on June 14.
Brad Pitt and Gwyneth Paltrow began dating in 1994 and got engaged shortly before their split in May 1997. One year later, Brad Pitt began dating his first wife, Jennifer Aniston.
Although Gwyneth Paltrow was once in love and planning to marry Brad Pitt, she didn’t leave much hope for a reunion when she told the curious fan that their ship had sailed. That said, there wasn’t much hope to begin with as Paltrow has been dating American Horror Story writer and producer Brad Falchuk for the past three years.
Since Angelina Jolie filed for divorce in September 2016, Brad Pitt has been rumored to be dating a number of women.
Just months after Angelina Jolie’s divorce filing, Brad Pitt was linked to actress Kate Hudson and in the months that followed, they continued to face rumors regarding a possible relationship. Even after after Hudson’s brother, Oliver, joked about the relationship on his Instagram page, the rumors continued. Then, earlier this year, after Kate Hudson went public with her new boyfriend, the reports finally died down.
In addition to Kate Hudson, Brad Pitt was been linked to Margot Robbie, Jennifer Aniston, and Sienna Miller, in the months since his breakup from Angelina Jolie.
Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston were married when Pitt hit it off with Jolie on the set of their 2005 thriller, Mr. & Mrs. Smith. As fans will recall, Pitt and Jolie faced rumors of an on-set affair for months until Aniston filed for divorce and just one year later, the couple welcomed their first child.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie share a total of six children, 15-year-old Maddox, 13-year-old Pax, 12-year-old Zahara, 11-year-old Shiloh, and eight-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox.
