NeNe Leakes Confirms Return To Bravo On Twitter, Will Appear On ‘Real Housewives Of Atlanta’ Season 10
She’s back! NeNe Leakes has officially confirmed her return to The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
After leaving the Bravo reality series after Season 7 and appearing in a guest starring role in the years that followed, NeNe Leakes will be reprising her full-time role during the show’s upcoming 10th season and confirmed the news on Twitter on June 14.
“It’s been a long process but we’ve finally reached an agreement! All hail the Queen for season 10 of [The Real Housewives of Atlanta],” NeNe Leakes wrote to her fans, adding the hash tag, “The Threat is Back.”
Along with NeNe Leakes’ Twitter announcement, the reality star, who ventured into acting after leaving The Real Housewives of Atlanta years ago, shared a photo of herself posing in a long vest and exposing her cleavage. Also seen in the photo was a glass of champagne topped off with a Georgia peach.
NeNe Leakes’ exit comes on the heels of Phaedra Parks’ exit from the show. As fans will recall, Parks was reportedly fired after spreading vicious lies against her co-star and former friend, Kandi Burruss.
Although Bravo TV has yet to confirm news of NeNe Leakes’ return to the show, OK! Magazine claimed the reality star was reportedly given a whopping $2.5 million paycheck to return to the show, which is far more than her previous salary of $1 million per season.
News of NeNe Leakes’ return to The Real Housewives of Atlanta comes just a couple of months after her on-again, off-again friend and co-star, Kim Zolciak, reportedly signed on to appear on Season 10 as well. As a report by TMZ revealed in April, Zolciak will appear on the show when it returns this fall after leaving the series years ago in lieu of her popular spinoff series, Don’t Be Tardy, which features the mother of six and her husband, Kroy Biermann, navigating through life with their large family.
According to TMZ, producers wanted to sign Kim Zolciak onto a full-time role on the series, much like NeNe Leakes, but because of her filming responsibilities with Don’t Be Tardy, her schedule simply didn’t allow her enough time.
