‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Tokyo Video Shocks Cane In Court – Lily Stunned As Cheating Confirmed

The Young and the Restless spoilers promise that Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) will be shocked when the sexual harassment case not only goes to court, but video footage comes into evidence that confirms what Cane has been trying to hide. It turns out lawyer Leslie Michaelson (Angell Conwell) had a secret up her sleeve that will stun everyone in court. After this big reveal next week, Cane can’t deny anything. He will lose big – and so will Brash & Sassy because of his secrets and lies.

Shocking video proof from torrid night in Tokyo

Upcoming The Young and the Restless spoilers from this week’s soap magazines say someone does the investigative legwork to obtain concrete proof that Cane and Juliet Helton (Laur Allen) slept together in Tokyo. Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) was cocky and thought for sure he’d get the sex case kicked from court and it would never go to trial. Leslie also looked a bit worried, but then good news came her way with this video. Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) was confident and trusted Cane.

What’s interesting about this The Young and the Restless spoiler is that fans have been expecting to see the video that Hilary Curtis (Mishael Morgan) secretly recorded of Juliet confessing to sex with Cane – and that’s still coming. Many Y&R fans are skeptical that any sex happened between the two and thought Juliet was setting up Cane. However, the video that plays in court will put some of these doubts to rest. The video shows Cane and Juliet going into his hotel room and Juliet not leaving until the next morning.

Lily blindsided in court – video wrecks her marriage

The Young and the Restless spoilers from Soaps She Knows for next week predict that Cane finds himself caught between truth proven by video and his weeks of outright lies. It might have been Leslie that ferreted out the video from the Tokyo hotel, but it seems more like a move Hilary would make. No matter who obtains the Tokyo hotel video footage, it could cost Brash & Sassy big bucks. Plus, Hilary has a second incriminating video she plans to air on GC Buzz.

Other The Young and the Restless spoilers from Thursday’s episode revealed by Soaps She Knows say that Cane makes the case against him unwinnable when he barges into Juliet’s suite at the GCAC and demands she drop the lawsuit. Cane browbeats her and thinks he succeeded then brags to Lily and Victoria later that the suit will go away. Cane could not be more wrong, and Michael is furious.

Will Victoria cut Cane loose to defend himself?

Some The Young and the Restless spoilers hint that Victoria could disavow Cane’s actions to try and save herself from paying a big verdict out to Juliet in this sexual harassment case. Cane is guilty of cheating and lying (assuming sex happened behind that closed door in Tokyo), but was it sexual harassment? Maybe or maybe not. It seems certain Victoria will fire Cane, but should she have to pay Juliet?

There’s a huge question of whether what Cane did is harassment even if he screwed up the deal and Juliet saved it. Victoria has been pretty nasty to Juliet over this, but The Young and the Restless spoilers also tease that Victoria might re-hire Juliet and fire Cane to make things right. There’s no way Victoria can keep Cane on at Brash & Sassy since she can’t trust him and Juliet was a solid employee.

Karma comes for Cane

What’s ironic about this is that Cane did this to himself and he managed to screw Juliet over in the process. The Young and the Restless spoilers say if Cane weren’t trying to get Billy Abbot (Jason Thompson) fired, none of this would have happened. Cane’s shenanigans got Juliet fired. Because of that, she deserves her job back or some compensation. Cane sabotaged Juliet trying to take down Billy.

Because of Cane’s motive, Juliet was his victim, but the sex (whether it happened or not) wasn’t part of the scenario. Cane’s best bet, according to The Young and the Restless spoilers, is to come clean on all of his mistakes and hope the truth sets him free. One thing seems certain. Lily is about to set Cane free of their marriage after this incident. Do you feel sorry for Cane or Juliet?
