Sasha Obama Turns Heads In Red Slip Dress At Her 16th Birthday Party

Sasha Obama looked stunning in a shimmery red slip dress she wore for her sweet 16th birthday party. The former first daughter just finished her school year at Sidwell Friends in Washington, D.C.

According to the Daily Mail, Sasha Obama turned 16 in May but celebrated her birthday on June 10 with a handful of friends that also included Real Housewives of Potomac star Charrisse Jackson’s daughter, Skylar. The photo snapped below shows Sasha celebrating with her parents.

Sasha is getting lots of praise for her gorgeous red dress that was designed by Jill Stuart. The full-length gown had a deep v-neck and spaghetti straps that finished into a racerback and beautifully framed her nice figure. She paired the look with a thin gold necklace.

Sasha Obama’s dress came from Nordstrom and cost $398, the report goes on to say. Photos of her with her parents and maternal grandmother, Marian Robinson, at her party were retweeted and liked thousands of times on Twitter.

Sasha Obama has remained largely out of the spotlight since her family moved out of the White House. Her older sister, Malia, has been photographed in New York going to and from her job — making headlines with her fashion choices. The 18-year-old will begin her studies at Harvard this fall.
