Brooke Mueller Hospitalized In Possible Drug Overdose, Denies It

Brooke Mueller was hospitalized with a suspected drug overdose on Friday morning, though the troubled ex-wife of Charlie Sheen has said that the hospitalization isn’t what it seems.

Mueller was rushed to the hospital in Los Angeles after an assistant fount her unresponsive, reports Us Magazine. Sources have said that Sheen’s ex has been using drugs for “several weeks” and that friends and family are “deeply concerned” about her health.

Sheen’s ex was only in the hospital for about an hour before being discharged. Her rep stated:

“An assistant thought Brooke was non-responsive while she was napping and hastily called an ambulance. As a precaution, Brooke was brought to a local hospital and discharged after an hour. She was diagnosed with exhaustion and dehydration and is now fine and resting at home. That’s it.”

Brooke Mueller’s stint in the hospital may not have been a drug overdose, but the idea that her assistant was that worried about her hints that the former actress may not be done with drugs, despite her 15 stints in rehab.

Radar Online notes that Mueller defended herself after she was hospitalized, asserting that it she was definitely not hospitalized because of an overdose. Sheen’s ex stated, “I am going back to the hospital to get the test results that will prove that I wasn’t on drugs.”

A source close to the former actress has said that, after she pleaded guilty to a cocaine possession charge in May, she was “actively working on her sobriety and recovery everyday and in committed to living a clean life.”
