Kim Kardashian West keeps busy with her children, North West and Saint West, and her husband, Kanye West, but she’s always got time for a new venture. This time, Kim is building her own beauty brand and she’s building up interest via her Instagram account.
Kim announced via her Instagram account that she would be launching a new website that will be focused on beauty. She didn’t specifically mention a product line, but it would be logical that there would be some kind of beauty product associated with it. According to Kim Kardashian’s social media, the site will launch on June 21, 2017.
Mrs. West is no stranger to the beauty industry. It seems to run in the family. Together, Kim and her Kardashian sisters, Kourtney and Khloe, already own Kardashian Beauty and they have a variety of products available. Kylie Jenner has her own empire with Kylie Cosmetics, which focuses mostly on beauty products for they eyes, cheeks, and lips. Both Kourtney and Kendall have also been brand ambassadors for big names like Manuka Doctor and Estee Lauder.
Kim Kardashian is building up the suspense by revealing only the most necessary of details. Her Instagram account featured an image that flashed the numbers, “6”,”21″ and “17,” and then directed people to her new Instagram account for the brand, @KKWBEAUTY. There, fans can find a post that reads, “SHOP 06.21.17,” which does build on the idea that there will be actual products involved. Although there is little information and only three posts at this time, Kim’s new Instagram account already has over 36,000 followers.
Mario Dedivanovic, Kim Kardashian’s friend and makeup artist, shared a little hint on his own Instagram account. The post suggests that he may be involved in Kim’s new beauty brand. The post shared the same video as Kim’s that says, “SHOP 06.21.17” and in the caption it says, “The Glam Queen has arrived…get ready to be SNATCHED.”
According to People, Kim Kardashian West is also working on a Lifetime reality show of her own. It will be called Glam Masters and it will be about her search for new members of her glam squad. Perhaps this will tie into her new business somehow.
What do you think? Will Kim Kardashian be able to pull off the same success as her other apps and online businesses? Or is she taking on too much at once?
