Britney Spears Is Leaving Her Residency In Vegas And Heading Back To Los Angeles?

Britney Spears is said to be house hunting for a new home in West Hollywood, California.

As she prepares for the end of her residency at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, 35-year-old Britney Spears is reportedly planning to get back to the party scene in Los Angeles and leave behind her former home in Thousand Oaks.

“[Britney Spears]’s putting out word that she wants a big pad, possibly in Malibu but preferably in West Hollywood. She’s bored up in the Valley and has been dying to get out of there for years,” a source told OK! Magazine on June 12.

According to the report, Britney Spears feels like she’s paid her dues following some troubling incidents years ago, including her infamous attack on a Los Angeles paparazzi, and is ready to enjoy the nightlife of Los Angeles. That said, the fact that she has allegedly been Googling hotspots in Hollywood may suggest that she’s headed down a slippery slope.

Britney Spears’ reportedly upcoming move comes after the singer decided to pull the plug on her Las Vegas residency after spending four years in Sin City. As the outlet revealed, Britney Spears will be performing her final show at The Axis on December 31st.

Amid her residency in Las Vegas, Britney Spears began dating a 23-year-old actor named Sam Asghari and currently, the couple appears to be going strong. After being spotted together in Malibu, California in April, where the couple enjoyed a lunch date at Nobu, the couple was seen in Japan, where Asghari surprised the mother of two.

As fans of the singer will recall, Britney Spears married backup dancer Kevin Federline in 2004 and quickly welcomed two children with her now-ex-husband, sons Sean Preston, 11, and Jayden James, 10.

Britney Spears’ residency in Las Vegas launched on December 27, 2013, and two years later, Spears extended her contract with Planet Hollywood through the end of this year. Also, Spears announced in early 2017 that her act would be taken to a number of other countries, including the Philippines, Japan, and Israel.

In October 2014, Billboard magazine shared a report which revealed Britney Spears’ residency in Las Vegas had boosted Planet Hollywood’s annual earnings by an impressive $20 million.
