‘Flatliners’ Remake Releases First Creepy Trailer

The Flatliners remake has officially released its first trailer, and fans are already wondering if the reboot will be better than the original. The first trailer for the film features clips of the young cast, Ellen Page, Diego Luna, Nina Dobrev, James Norton, and Kiersey Clemons as medical students who are playing with life and death, and suffering the consequences.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the original film was released in 1990 and starred Hollywood royalty, Julia Roberts, Kevin Bacon, and Kiefer Sutherland, who will also appear in the reboot.

As many fans already know, the story follows a group of medical students who decide to stop their hearts for minutes at a time in order to answer one of the biggest questions, is there life after death? Each member of the group dies and experiences different situations as they rely on their peers to bring them back from death. Each time they go under the stakes are raised and more dangerous.

However, Flatliners fans know that there are consequences for the students’ actions. The group begins to see mysterious things and have unexplained occurrences happen to them, finally realizing that they may have opened a very dangerous door that was supposed to stay shut. The group begins to be haunted by the things they’ve done in the past, and it could be their undoing.

Flatliners will hit theaters on September 29, just three weeks after Stephen King’s IT remake is scheduled to frighten fans. It seems that the fall will be a great time for horror movie enthusiasts to relive two of the best scary movies from the 1990’s, as both remakes are sure to have fans running to the movie theater to find out if the new versions are scarier than the original films.

The IT remake will also star a young and talented cast including Bill Skarsgard, Finn Wolfhard, Sophia Lillis, and more. Terrifying trailers for the Stephen King classic have already been released, adding to fans’ excitement about the return of the franchise.
