‘The View’ Co-Host Jedediah Bila Is Getting Married, Announces Engagement To Jeremy Scher

There was a special announcement on The View on Monday, and this time it wasn’t about someone leaving the show. Co-host Jedediah Bila announced to the world that she is officially engaged to her longtime boyfriend, Jeremy Scher. He popped the question over the weekend, and she, of course, said yes.

There was a hint revealed before the five females stepped onto the stage that mentioned there would be a “live-changing announcement” from one of the co-hosts. That had everyone wondering if one of the chatty women would be exiting soon. However, it was much better than that. It was an engagement announcement from Jedediah Bila that she had been proposed to by her now fiance. ABC posted a clip of her sharing the news on The View.

Jedediah couldn’t hide her excitement for very long, but she did manage to hide her gorgeous engagement ring until she was able to share the good news. Once the cat was out of the bag, she flashed it to everyone and the audience was heard cheering for her. Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sara Haines, and Sunny Hostin were all happy for her as well, and they toasted to her future marriage to Jeremy.

Bila admitted that it was all a surprise when Jeremy got down on one knee to ask for her hand in marriage. She said that she figured something was up when he was ready an hour early, which is highly unusual for him. The twosome got engaged while they were staying at the Inn at Bowman’s Hill, a lovely bed and breakfast in Pennsylvania. She shared a photo on her Instagram, and they both look so happy.

The former Fox News correspondent has officially been a co-host on The View since last year. She has been labeled as the one with the more conservative views, sometimes even defending Donald Trump. However, she doesn’t always take the Republican side of things. She does get into many heated debates with the other women, but that is what the show is all about. She has her own views and defends them furiously.

She has also defended marriage, unlike her fellow gal pal, Whoopi Goldberg, who notes that marriage just isn’t for her, but the View leader is happy for the future Mrs. Scher and wishes her nothing but the best. Jedediah had previously mentioned that she wants the kind of life to be able to have someone there for her when she goes home at night. She just wanted to find the right one, and it looks like she has. The 38-year-old is marrying her prince charming.
