‘Real Housewives Of Orange County’: Tamra Judge Enjoys Time With Her Granddaughter
Tamra Judge is enjoying time with her family as she and her co-stars prepare for the upcoming premiere of The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 12.
At the end of last week, Tamra Judge took to Instagram where she revealed that she and her family, including her youngest daughter Sophia, had arrived to their vacation destination. In the days that followed, the longtime reality star shared several photos from her trip with fans.
In the first photo, Tamra Judge’s daughter was seen with two other little girls. In her second, Tamra Judge was seen showing off her sunglasses and bright pink bikini in a mirror selfie.
Tamra Judge then posted a photo of herself floating in a pool with her granddaughter, Ava, as a cute dog sat behind them. In the picture, Tamra Judge was seen sporting a floral bikini while Ava enjoyed the warm weather and cool water in a peach two-piece.
Ava was born to Tamra Judge’s oldest son, Ryan Vieth, and his wife, Sarah Rodriguez, in February 2015.
“So blessed….thank you Jesus. #Ava,” Tamra Judge wrote in the caption of the June 10 photo on Instagram.
While Tamra Judge didn’t confirm where she and her family were vacationing, People Magazine told readers on June 9 that they were somewhere in Orange County.
Tamra Judge also shared a couple of video clips from her trip, one of which featured Sarah Rodriguez.
As People Magazine revealed to readers, Ava, now 2, was diagnosed with a kidney condition at the time of her February 2015 birth and in the months that followed, doctors determined she was suffering from a multicystic dysplastic kidney.
Still, according to Tamra Judge, who has named herself “Glam-ma,” Ava is a happy toddler.
“She’s happy, she’s healthy, and she’s funny,” the reality star told People magazine last January. “She’s just so cute!”
The child’s mother also spoke to the outlet, explaining that when her daughter arrived, doctors were unable to locate one of her kidneys.
“When she was born, there was no sign of a left kidney,” Sarah Rodriguez explained to the magazine. “Because it was a non-functioning kidney it kind of just shriveled up, so it hasn’t disappeared but the tissue is too small to be detected by an ultrasound.”
Following her birth, Ava received treatment at a children’s hospital nephrology unit, where she was monitored every six months to give doctors an update on the functionality and size of her remaining kidney. As of 2016, the magazine explained, her future looked promising.
“Her right kidney is growing to compensate for both kidneys,” said Rodriguez, “so it’s a little larger than the other one, but it’s compensating, which is really good.”
When Tamra Judge first joined the cast of The Real Housewives of Orange County, she was married to Simon Barney and raising their three kids. Now, after a messy divorce, the reality star has remarried and continues to enjoy her husband, Eddie Judge, as they work at their Orange County fitness center, C.U.T. Fitness.
As for her relationship with her oldest daughter Sidney, Tamra Judge and the teenage girl appear to remain estranged as the youngest kids, including son Spencer, are believed to be living with their mother at her Orange County home.
