Norman Reedus In Alabama: The Reason Why Daryl Dixon Wasn’t On Set Filming ‘TWD’ Season 8

Norman Reedus is supposed to be in Georgia filming Season 8 of The Walking Dead with the rest of his co-stars. However, it was reported this week that he isn’t anywhere near the filming location. On Thursday, he was spotted in Alabama, which is making TWD fans wonder if something has happened to Daryl Dixon. It turns out there was a very good reason why the actor left the filming location.

According to Alabama.com, Reedus was in Hatton, Alabama. On Facebook, Miller Terry posted a photo of himself posing with the crossbow-wielding, zombie-slaying superstar. It is always exciting to meet a celebrity, but TWD fans are worried. If Norman is riding his motorcycle all around Alabama, then is there a reason for this? Everyone else on The Walking Dead is in Georgia filming Season 8.

Even though there is a possibility that Daryl dies in The Walking Dead, fans shouldn’t get too concerned. The reason why Norman was not in Georgia was because he made an appearance at the Walker Stalker convention in Nashville, Tennessee, earlier this week. He was likely either on his way to the event or on his way back to Georgia for filming.

Those that follow the Spoiling Dead Fans Facebook page know that there hasn’t been much information on filming during the past week. However, Reedus was photographed on set with Lennie James, who plays Morgan. On May 25, Norman was spotted filming with Andrew Lincoln, who portrays Rick Grimes. Just because someone isn’t seen on set a lot doesn’t indicate death. Christian Espinosa (Christian Serratos) recently gave birth, so she hasn’t been filming much, but fans are certain she is still alive.

Miller Terry said that Norman Reedus was in Alabama making a pit stop during a ride. The actor stopped at a convenience store in Hatton. That is when Terry noticed the celebrity and was able to get a photo with the star.

Besides keeping busy filming and riding his motorcycle, Reedus has been sharing his love for Diane Kruger. The actor has dated before, but doesn’t post a lot of photos of women on his social media accounts. Well, he must really be in love with Diane because he uploaded several pictures of her on Instagram during the past few weeks.

As far as The Walking Dead is concerned, the premiere date for Season 8 has not been announced. However, in the past, it has always begun airing on AMC in October. Fans predict that it will follow that same timeline this year. There are not many spoilers to share, but all of the actors agreed that filming Season 7 “sucked.” However, this season, the stars are enjoying it a lot more. Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Norman Reedus shared what was so awful about last year’s filming.

“Yeah, and I mean, I understand when characters go through certain things, and mostly they’re cut off from the rest of the group, but I didn’t even see anybody. I was in a hole by myself, naked. It just did not feel right to me. I’d talk to [showrunner Scott] Gimple, and I’d be like, ‘Man, this sucks. I hate this.’ And he’d be like, ‘You’re supposed to.’ I’m like, ‘Oh, there you go.’ You know what I mean? He was right. It was supposed to suck, and it did suck — for me, anyway. But you know, it just makes coming back together [in the second half of Season 7] that much more special.”

What did you think of the news that Norman Reedus was in Alabama? Were you concerned about Daryl Dixon’s fate in The Walking Dead? Or did you know that the TWD actor was headed to Nashville for a Walker Stalker convention?
