Brad Pitt Happy And Dating As Angelina Jolie Reportedly Struggles To Move On
Brad Pitt is back in the dating game after his nasty split with Angelina Jolie. An insider told Enstarz that the World War Z star is ready to date now that his custody battle with Jolie has cooled down. Does this mean that Jolie is ready to finally move on as well?
While Pitt is ready to find love once again, his biggest priority is helping Jolie raise their six children.
“Make no mistake about it, Brad’s priority is absolutely his kids right now,” a source shared. “They are his life and he’s making sure they are happy, safe, and surrounded by love. Saying that, Brad does realize he doesn’t want to be alone forever and having someone to love again is appealing.”
Jolie and Pitt were together for over a decade after meeting on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith in 2005. They eventually married but divorced two years after tying the knot. They share six kids together, including Maddox, 15, Pax, 13, Zahara, 12, Shiloh, 11, and 8-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox.
Joie filed for divorce in September of 2016. In the midst of their heated custody battle, Pitt has been linked to a number of actresses in Hollywood. This includes the likes of Margot Robbie, Sienna Miller, and Kate Hudson. Brad Pitt has not confirmed any of these romances, but it sounds like he is ready to mingle once again.
“Brad is a passionate, emotional guy who loves being in love so it will definitely happen,” the insider explained. “After a lot of work on himself he’s finally open to it — down the road. For now he still needs to put in more time working on himself and his new healthy life.”
Although the actor is looking for a new girl, he’s not in a hurry to find the right one. In fact, the Allied star is enjoying the single life and doesn’t want to rush into anything serious – at least not at the moment.
“Being single isn’t a bad thing at all for Brad. He’s really enjoying being single and the freedom that comes with that,” the insider noted. “He feels like he’s a real grown-up, taking care of himself,” the source added. “He’s always had someone taking care of him and has been in back to back relationships. It feels amazing to just stand alone on his own.”
Pitt may be looking for a fresh start, but Ace Showbiz reports that Jolie isn’t ready to move on just yet. An inside source claims that Jolie was hurt badly by the split and Pitt’s decision to throw away their marriage. Jolie blames Pitt’s drinking habits for their failed relationship and still isn’t happy with the private plane incident between Pitt and Maddox.
Shortly after the divorce news broke, rumors surfaced that Pitt had physically abused Maddox on a plane. The actor was investigated by several different agencies in California and was eventually cleared of all the allegations. Jolie and Pitt later decided to take their divorce to a private judge to prevent further leaks.
According to Hollywood Life, Jolie isn’t looking to date in the near future. The actress is solely focused on raising her kids and working through the divorce. While she has certainly been through a lot over the past six months, Jolie is also determined to come out a stronger person. She also wants to repair her friendship with Pitt for the children’s sake, which is one reason she recently purchased a mansion near Pitt’s estate in Los Feliz.
Pitt and Jolie have not commented on the latest rumors surrounding their dating lives.
