‘Little People, Big World’: Zach And Tori Roloff Gush Over Baby Jackson In Adorable Video

Little People, Big World stars Zach and Tori Roloff couldn’t be happier after welcoming baby Jackson a few weeks ago, and the couple have been taking to social media to showcase their adorable newborn to the world.

In a new video the Roloffs shared, Zach and Tori revealed that they initially had a difficult time agreeing on a name for their baby, as reported by US Weekly.

“We just liked the name. We couldn’t really decide on boy names together and Jackson was literally the only one that we could,” Tori, 26, said. “We liked the name Jack, but now we kinda don’t think we’re going to call him Jack. We’ll probably end up calling him Jackson.”

Zach and Tori Roloff welcomed baby Jackson on May 14, as reported by the Inquisitr. Like his dad, Jackson Roloff was born with achondroplasia, one of the most common forms of dwarfism. But while Zach admits that he has a few misgivings about his son being an LP (little person), he said that he and Tori are hoping to “give him a healthy, happy life and support him in every way.”

“He can experience as much as the world as Tori and me have been able to and hopefully much more,” he said.

“That’s our goal for him. He might have to take two steps for everyone else’s one step, but hopefully we’ll be able to raise him in a way where that won’t stop him,” Zach added.

“Just like daddy!” Tori said with a smile.

While baby Jackson may have inherited some physical traits from his father, Zach reveals that he also takes after his mom, personality-wise.

“Seems like a pretty stubborn kid already, so I think he’s got it under control,” said Tori about her newborn.

“He comes after his mom — he doesn’t like to be told what to do,” Zach wistfully added.

Not long after Jackson was born, Zach told People how growing up as a dwarf prepared him to becoming a father to a son born with achondroplasia.

“You have to encourage a dwarf child a little more because it will take them five steps to do what others can do in two. But I knew, dwarf or not, I was going to parent my child with the mentality that not everyone gets a trophy. You have to earn it.”

Mr. Roloff said that he’s happy his child is being born into a world that’s more accepting as opposed to the one he grew up in.

“The world is changing. People are more open to diversity,” he said. “Whatever he wants to do, we’re going to find a way to help him do it. That’s our job in life now.”

The Little People Big World couple talked about how easy it was for them to adjust to a their new lives as parents. They said taking care of Jackson has “been pretty easy,” except “when he’s hungry,” Tori said.

Zach Roloff boasts that as far as changing diapers go, he is a “professional.”

“Feeding’s been alright. Changing the diapers, I knew I was going to be a professional, and that’s what it turned out to be,” Zach said.

Since welcoming their first child, the Little People Big World power couple has been sharing lovely photos of baby Jackson on Instagram.

On Friday, Zach Roloff shared an adorable close-up photo of Jackson.

“Hi my name is Jackson! I like peeing when dad and mom are changing my diaper, eating, and sleeping,” went Zach’s caption. “They say I have TaG abilities.”
