Watch England Vs. Australia Cricket Live Stream: Start Time — Bangladesh Champions Trophy Fate Hinges On Match

Five months ahead of the 2017 Ashes, two of the fiercest rivals in world cricket face off in a must-win ICC Champions Trophy match on Friday, a game that will live stream as tournament host England faces Australia — who will look to complete a match in the tournament for the first time after a pair of no-results due to inclement weather.

But the ODI contest, the final match in Group A of the eight-team Champions Trophy competition, is a must-win for only one of the two rivals. England with two victories have already nailed down their place in the semifinals next week. Australia, however, must not only finish the match but win it in order to advance. If they lose to England, the surprising Bangladesh side takes their place in the final four after missing out on the last two Champions Trophy tournaments altogether — after the Tigers stunned New Zealand in a dramatic comeback victory on Friday.

Chasing 266 in Cardiff, Wales, Bangladesh collapsed at the top of the order dropping to a dismal and seemingly hopeless 33 with four wickets down. But Shakib al-Hassan and Mahmudullah then set out on what became a record-breaking partnership, the highest-scoring single-wicket stand in Bangladesh ODI history as each recorded a century, leading the Tigers to a shock five-wicket win with 16 balls to spare.

The Bangladesh victory means that either an England win or a washout puts the upstart side in the semifinals and sends Australia home to await the opening of the official Ashes series in November.
