WWE News: Should Roman Reigns Feud Against Seth Rollins Before Braun Strowman Returns?

In WWE news, fans of Roman Reigns are trying to work out just who he should battle next before Braun Strowman returns to the world of wrestling, and the name of Seth Rollins keeps popping up. Should Reigns embark on some kind of a summer feud with Rollins?

There is no disputing the fact that last Sunday’s WWE Extreme Rules 2017 pay-per-view had an absolutely crazy Fatal 5-Way match. In fact, some are suggesting that it may have even been the craziest Fatal 5-way match ever in the history of WWE wrestling.

During Extreme Rules, Samoa Joe may have sealed his spot to battle against Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship in July at the WWE Great Balls of Fire pay-per-view event. Finn Balor, Bray Wyatt, Roman Reigns, and Seth Rollins have already moved on. While fans of Roman Reigns were not at all happy about the outcome of Extreme Rules, they were obviously pleased after Reigns defeated Bray Wyatt during WWE Monday Night Raw, especially as this was a rematch, as Pop Culture noted.

It was noticed by quite a few people that despite the fact that Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt had obviously wrestled each other many times before, during WWE Monday Night Raw, there was a fresh level of enthusiasm in their match that really showed.

After Extreme Rules and WWE Monday Night Raw, what will happen next for Roman Reigns? There are still many who think the WWE made a mistake on Extreme Rules with Reigns, and combined with Raw’s low ratings, they shouldn’t mess around with wrestlers who haven’t proven themselves yet, unlike Roman Reigns, who commands extraordinarily large audiences.

Triple H may have stated the obvious when he said that whether Roman Reigns wins or loses, he will always have an adoring fanbase of people who love to watch him wrestle, as Forbes reported.

“People can look at Roman Reigns and say, ‘The failed attempt that is Roman Reigns,’ but Roman Reigns sells tickets.”

Furthermore, Triple H’s claims about Roman Reign’s fanbase can be proven simply by analyzing data. For instance, three of the largest grossing events in WWE history, which are WWE WrestleMania 31-33, all had Roman Reigns front and center in them. And in terms of merchandise, Reigns is No. 2 when it comes to the WWE, right behind John Cena.

Then there are WWE’s YouTube videos, of which Roman Reigns had the most views in 2016, as Forbes reported. In 2016, 23.5 million people watched Roman Reigns for WWE Monday Night Raw on March 14, 2016, and Reigns still continues to garner a massive amount of views today.

With Roman Reigns having such enormous popularity, what will be his next move after his win on WWE Monday Night Raw? There could be a storyline with any of the Raw characters, but a growing number of people think that Seth Rollins would make the best feud for Roman, especially as there is so much energy between the two of them. If there was a feud between the two of them, it would certainly be a point of interest, at least until Braun Strowman returns to the world of WWE and he and Roman Reigns can continue their storyline.

After Braun Strowman returns in July and he and Roman Reigns continue their feud, WWE will start to get exciting once again, but until then, fans want to see more Roman Reigns.
