Katy Perry Is Live Streaming Her Life For New Album Release — Watch Here

Katy Perry is bringing her life right to her fans this weekend. In the highly anticipated release of her new album, Witness, Perry is live streaming her life for fans to enjoy. Yes, Katy Perry is bringing us a 24-7 live stream into “Witness Headquarters,” like you would see on Big Brother. For any Katy Perry fans out there, this is a must-see event.

Witness is the fifth studio album from Katy Perry, and it was released today. To help boost sales and downloads of the album, Perry has set up “Witness Headquarters” and began a live-streaming event last night at 11 p.m. EST/8 p.m. PST. The live-stream event is titled “Katy Perry: Witness World Wide” and is available to view on Youtube, which can be seen below.

If you are not familiar with Big Brother, the concept it pretty simple. Katy is allowing cameras to follow her around and record her every move this weekend. You can watch her send out tweets to promote her album or hang out with singer Hayden James or check out her adorable dog, Nugget. It is definitely an interesting take on the life of a pop music star. This kind of thing doesn’t happen often, so thanks to technology, you should eat it up.

The live-stream event will go through Monday, so an ending will be coming. Something that won’t end is the feud and drama between Katy Perry and Taylor Swift. We all watched as Katy got in the car with James Corden for his “Carpool Karaoke” segment of The Late Late Show. During it, Perry talked about the feud with Swift and gave her side of the story, which was a first for Perry. So, why open up to Corden about it all? Katy explained recently in an interview with NME.

“Well, James Corden makes me and the whole world feel safe. No one has asked me about my side of the story, and there are three sides of every story: one, two, and the truth.”

The bad blood continues (pun intended), as Taylor Swift has decided to open up all of her music to all of the streaming services out there today. Previously, Swift made a deal to have her music on Apple Music only. Now you can listen to her old songs on the like of Pandora, Tidal, and more. It was just a coincidence that she went back to all streaming services on the day that Perry’s new album comes out, right? Her rep made a statement regarding the big Taylor Swift news.

“In celebration of 1989 selling over 10 Million Albums Worldwide and the RIAA’s 100 Million Song Certification announcement, Taylor wants to thank her fans by making her entire back catalog available to all streaming services tonight at midnight.”

It definitely seems like a slap in the face to Katy Perry, so no girl power there, huh? It seems like this may be the reason that Katy has been more vocal about the silly feud, as she commented about that in her NME interview also.

“I wish I that I could turn the other cheek every single time, but I’m also not a pushover, you know? Especially when someone tries to assassinate my character with little girls [her fans]. That’s so messed up!”

With “Katy Perry: Witness World Wide” in full swing, we should definitely hear her talking about Taylor Swift at some point in time. Katy Perry will have cameras on her 24 hours a day, so Swift’s name has to come out of her mouth at eventually, so that right there is reason enough to watch the live stream. If you need another reason, you can see a kid stack dominoes and have Orlando Bloom on your screen.
