WWE Rumors: Enzo Amore Turning Heel On Big Cass? Other Possible Plot Twists Revealed

Enzo Amore and Big Cass are involved in one of the most interesting storylines on Monday Night Raw. Amore has been attacked by someone twice in the past couple of weeks while Big Cass surprisingly suffered the same fate this week. Many fans expect Big Cass to be revealed as the perpetrator but the latest WWE rumors suggest several plot twists including Enzo turning heel.

As recapped by WWE.com, Enzo Amore was attacked backstage by an unknown assailant on the May 22 and May 29 episodes of Monday Night Raw. Some of the suspects include Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, The Revival and even Big Cass, who threatened Corey Graves for implying it two weeks ago. It’s not surprising to know that Cass is one of the suspects since the WWE typically books a heel turn between tag teams.

However, Big Cass was attacked this past Monday and the WWE could be looking to swerve fans. There is a plot twist brewing for this story and it’s what the WWE needs at the moment. Monday Night Raw is struggling to keep the ratings up and an interesting story involving Enzo Amore and Big Cass, as well as Graves and Kurt Angle could help attract viewers.

The Revival is also an obvious choice as suspects and it can boost the tag team division of Monday Night Raw. However, Dash Wilder is still recovering from jaw surgery and he is expected to be out until the end of June. Although Wilder and his partner Scott Dawson have appeared on television, they have been cleared by general manager Kurt Angle.

According to Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez of The Wrestling Observer (h/t Sportskeeda), the WWE is planning a major plot twist on the Enzo Amore and Big Cass storyline. They noted that the addition of the Big Show to the picture presents a lot of options for the WWE. The Big Show is notoriously known for his face and heel turns, which makes him a very obvious candidate.

One very interesting and big plot twist is the possibility of Enzo Amore orchestrating the attack on Big Cass and turning heel. Meltzer noted that Big Show and The Revival make sense as the attackers but turning Amore heel could pay off. Enzo recently teamed up with the Big Show and the story would be easier to tell.

Amore can explain that the Big Show is more proven and bigger than Cass. It will not only refresh the Enzo character but it could prove to be a big opportunity to showcase Cass, who is being groomed as one the future top stars of the WWE along with Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman, and Baron Corbin. Cass has the size Vince McMahon loves unlike Enzo Amore, who is basically a cruiserweight.

A heel Enzo Amore could be an entertaining character that could easily get over the crowd. Amore has the charisma and microphone skills to get under the skin of babyfaces and the audience. Enzo can talk all he wants while the Big Show takes care of everything in the ring. It could also help Big Show have one final run before his impending retirement.

Sean Rueter of Cageside Seats has a different theory with Kurt Angle and Corey Graves being involved in the attacks on Enzo Amore and Big Cass. It’s another interesting plot twist but Angle has not been cleared to wrestle while Graves is already retired due to concussions. Also, Kurt is being linked to feud with Stephanie McMahon and Triple H this summer.

Nevertheless, it should be noted that these are just rumors at the moment and nothing has been confirmed. The WWE tends to change their plans on a regular basis so fans need to tune in every week on Monday Night Raw to follow the storyline involving Enzo Amore and Big Cass.
