Keith Urban Wins Big At 2017 CMT Music Awards: Check Out The Complete Winners List

Keith Urban was the big winner during last night’s CMT Music Awards.

The 2017 CMT Music Awards took place at the Nashville Music City Center, and was attended by the hottest names in country music. Keith Urban took home each award he was previously nominated for including Video of the Year and Male Video of the Year for his hit song “Blue Ain’t Your Color,” Collaborative Video of the Year for his most recent song “The Fighter” featuring Carrie Underwood, and Social Superstar of the Year Presented by Pepsi.

“I love making music,” Urban said during his acceptance speech. “I love making videos. I love making records. I love writing songs. I love touring. I love what I get to do. Maybe more than ever right now, because who knows how long you get to do it?”

Urban continued his speech by thanking his wife, actress Nicole Kidman, for her love and support.

“I wanna say a massive thanks to my wife Nicole Mary (Kidman), because you have no idea how much of what I do she is involved in. Every little piece of it. And especially the videos. She hates me saying this, but I want it to be said, because she helps me so much making these videos what they are.”

Despite taking home four awards, Urban wasn’t the only winner during the 2017 CMT Music Awards. Carrie Underwood received two awards. In addition to her collaboration with Urban, Underwood also won Female Video of the Year for her song “Church Bells.” Lauren Alaina, who placed second during American Idol in 2011, was also victorious during last night’s ceremony, taking home the award for Breakthrough Video of the Year for her single “Road Less Traveled.”
