‘Teen Mom 2’ Leah Messer Attends The CMT Music Awards [Photos]
Leah Messer and her sister traveled to Nashville, Tennessee, days ago, and tonight, the Teen Mom 2 star will attend the CMT Music Awards.
Following a slew of rumors claiming the mother of three, who entered into a 30-day treatment program in 2015 for issues with anxiety and depression, was partying too hard, Leah Messer has returned to social media where she shared a photo of herself getting ready to attend tonight’s awards show.
“Eeeeekk, sooo excited!! Thank you so much [Leslie Ellis] for everything! Everyone should check this girl out!” Leah Messer wrote in the caption of her Instagram photo, which linked fans to Ellis’ own Instagram page.
In her photo, Leah Messer was seen holding an envelope with the CMT Music Awards banner at the top and her name written in black marker across the middle. On the envelope, Leah Messer was listed as a “celebrity guest” of the event.
While Leah Messer’s fellow Teen Mom 2 stars, including Kailyn Lowry and Jenelle Evans, are known to frequent red carpet events, including the MTV Movie Awards and MTV Video Music Awards, the CMT Music Awards will be the first red carpet event for Leah Messer. That said, it has yet to be confirmed whether she will be walking the red carpet or simply attending the show.
While fans will have to wait and see whether Leah Messer walks the red carpet at the show, her hair and makeup artist confirmed on her Instagram page that she was filmed as she got Messer ready for the event.
“Me and my girl [Leah Messer] getting her ready for the #CMTawards! Not everyday you have an MTV crew filming you. Have fun babe!” Ellis wrote in the caption of the photo seen above.
Ellis also shared a photo of Leah Messer by herself, and judging by her stunning gown, hair, jewelry, and makeup, she’s going to fit in just fine whether she walks the red carpet or not.
Over the weekend, Leah Messer faced backlash after she and her sister were seen at a bar in Nashville and shared a photo of several shots as they chronicled their wild night out on Snapchat.
A short time later, a Hollywood Gossip report expressed concern for Leah Messer and noted her reported past struggles with an addiction to prescription pills. As fans will recall, Leah Messer’s first husband, Corey Simms, claimed Messer was dealing with a drug problem during a 2015 episode of Teen Mom 2 while her second husband, Jeremy Calvert, said she was facing a prescription pill problem.
“Leah checked into rehab and appears to have kicked the prescription painkiller addiction that threatened her life, but her sobriety is still in an extremely fragile state,” the outlet told readers. “After all, it was less than two years ago that [Teen Mom 2] featured the frightening sight of Leah dozing off while holding a baby, an image that remains indelibly etched on the minds of many viewers.”
“It’s true that alcohol wasn’t Leah’s drug of choice, but we don’t think there’s an addiction counselor on the planet who would give a client the okay to go on a bender when she’s barely two years out of rehab,” the outlet concluded.
Leah Messer didn’t respond to the backlash she received in regard to her wild weekend with sister Victoria.
