Is Miranda Lambert Still Dating Boyfriend Anderson East? Rumors Have Suggested The Pair May Be Engaged
Miranda Lambert and Anderson East haven’t been seen together for several weeks, but that doesn’t necessarily mean the couple has parted ways. In fact, the pair has been infamously private about their relationship since it began in late 2015.
As Miranda Lambert prepares for her appearance at tonight’s CMT Music Awards, fans are wondering if her boyfriend, Anderson East, will walk the red carpet alongside her. However, at this point, it is hard to say whether the couple will make a joint appearance.
Although Miranda Lambert posts photos of herself and Anderson East on Instagram from time to time, she hasn’t shared any pictures of her boyfriend for over two months. As for East’s own Instagram page, Miranda Lambert hasn’t been spotted since April 3. Meanwhile, on Twitter, the couple mentioned one another on May 20 and suggested they were most definitely still dating when East discussed their dinnertime music.
Following the most, several fans rejoiced in the comments section, saying they were glad to hear that Miranda Lambert’s relationship with Anderson East remained intact.
As fans may recall, Miranda Lambert and Anderson East first confirmed their romance with an Instagram post to the country singer’s fans and followers on Instagram. In the post, Lambert and East were seen cuddling with one another under a red flannel blanket.
Before her relationship with Anderson East began, Miranda Lambert was married for four years to Blake Shelton, who moved on from their marriage with Gwen Stefani in late 2015.
Although Miranda Lambert doesn’t speak of her boyfriend much when it comes to interviews, she did mention East days ago while chatting with CMT After Midnight’s Cody Alan. During the interview, as revealed by Rare Country, Miranda Lambert revealed what brought her and East together.
“Dogs. I mean it always comes back to dogs for me,” she said. “That’s my things, music and rescue animals.”
“Obviously meeting someone it’s like, ‘Hey, would you like to meet my seven rescue dogs?’ It’s not normal,” Miranda Lambert continued. “So, anybody that’s friends with me knows they have to love my dogs, or they’re not friends with me anymore. It’s been fun to watch [Anderson] fall in love with rescue dogs more because they pretty much run my life.”
As Anderson East gets to know Miranda Lambert’s many dogs, she’s gotten to know his favorite sports team.
“I’m dating an Alabama boy. So, I guess I’m just ‘Roll Tide,'” she said.
However, when it comes to Miranda Lambert’s roots, she still makes an effort to cheer on the Texas Longhorns.
“I’m also ‘Hook ’em Horns.’ But, ya know, whatever color looks good on me that day,” Miranda Lambert added.
In addition to reports of a split between Miranda Lambert and Anderson East, the couple has also faced numerous rumors regarding their potential plans to get married and start a family. Although Lambert didn’t have any children during her marriage to Blake Shelton, a source weeks ago said that Lambert would love to one day start a family with her Alabama-born R&B singer boyfriend.
“[Miranda Lambert and Anderson East] are doing good. They try to keep their relationship private and out of the public’s way. They are definitely gonna get married,” a source told E! News in May. “They have discussed marriage and kids that they both want in the near future. She has learned many things about what she wants and needs after her breakup and Anderson fulfills it all.”
