Kit Harington And Rose Leslie Getting Engaged? ‘Jon Snow’ And ‘Ygritte’ Reach A Relationship Milestone

Are Kit Harington and Rose Leslie getting engaged soon? That’s the current buzz going around the beloved Game of Thrones couple after “Jon Snow” sat down for an interview with James Corden on The Late Late Show on Wednesday, June 6, as reported by Hollywood Life.

In the show’s recent episode, which was taped in London, Harington, 30, was asked if he has plans of getting engaged and married to Ms. Leslie, also 30, soon. Taken aback by the question, Kit blushed all over, to the delight of the crowd.

“I’ve moved in with my other best friend Rose, so I’m very happy,” Harington told the audience. “And it’s going well, so she’s got all sorts of ideas for the house. I said to her, cause she’s moved into my house, I said, ‘Look darling, it’s important that this is our space. That it feels like our space. That you haven’t just moved into mine. Move anything you want around, change anything, chuck anything out.’ I went to the shops and I came back and said, ‘What did you decide?’ and she looked up and said, ‘We’re moving the kitchen downstairs.'”

Immediately his adorable story drew laughter from the audience, Nicole Kidman, who guested on The Late Late Show before him, asked Kit Harington if he and Leslie are getting married soon. Harington went red all over and seemed at a loss for words before saying, “Oh wow.”

Ms. Kidman pressed on, saying that he and his girlfriend Rose Leslie need to at least get engaged before they can get married.

“I’m being put on the spot by Nicole Kidman,” Kit said with a grin on his face.

Eventually, Mr. Harington gave his answer.

“Step by step, step by step,” he said, while laughing.

Kit Harington and Rose Leslie have been dating on and off since 2012. Their relationship has been pretty lowkey until it turned serious in January 2016. Since then, the adorable couple appeared together on numerous red carpets and were spotted going on romantic dates, including a recent trip at Greece’s Hydra Island.

Rumors that Kit Harington and Rose Leslie are getting engaged soon emerged when news broke that the two are moving in together.

In an interview with Esquire, Harington confirmed that they are taking their relationship to the next level by moving in together. He also said that he and Leslie “are very, very happy” about the current state of their relationship together.

“It’s as much her relationship as it is mine and I can’t speak for both of us,” he said of girlfriend Rose. “But yeah, we are very, very happy. So that’s what I’ll say about that.”

Kit Harington and Rose Leslie met on the set of HBO’s popular fantasy TV series Game of Thrones, playing love interests Jon Snow and Ygritte. The British actor revealed in an interview with Vogue that he fell in love with Leslie during the “three weeks in Iceland when we were shooting the second season.”

“Because the country is beautiful, because the Northern Lights are magical, and because it was there that I fell in love (with my girlfriend Rose Leslie).”

“If you’re already attracted to someone, and then they play your love interest in the show, it becomes very easy to fall in love.”

While Kit Harington and Rose Leslie are possibly getting engaged soon, Jon Snow and Ygritte didn’t share their real-life counterparts’ fate, as the latter was killed off in Season 4. Harington, meanwhile, is expected to reprise his role when he returns on Game of Thrones’ seventh and final season in July.

Harington and Leslie made their red carpet debut at the 2016 Olivier Awards.

The pair had no qualms indulging in some PDA on the red carpet, sharing a quick kiss in front of the cameras on numerous occasions. The actor wore a sharp black tuxedo while Leslie looked stunning in a gold Oddershede Bach gown.
