Will Blake Shelton And Miranda Lambert Run Into One Another At The CMT Music Awards? He May Bring Gwen Stefani

Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert are both expected to attend tomorrow night’s CMT Music Awards, and fans are wondering if they will come face-to-face during the event.

Nearly two years after ending their marriage after four short years, the former country music power couple is headed to the annual awards show in Nashville, Tennessee, where they are both nominated for awards, including Shelton’s nomination for the Male Video of the Year and Lambert’s nomination for the Female Video of the Year.

According to a report by Hollywood Life on June 6, Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert will be in the same room as the awards show takes place, but when it comes to a face-to-face encounter, it is “highly unlikely they’ll run into each other.” As the outlet pointed out, performers and nominees often leave the show immediately after their performance or award is announced. So, when it comes to seeing Shelton and Lambert back together, the chances are quite slim. In addition, the handlers of the singers would likely do what they can to prevent any such thing from happening.

Blake Shelton may also have his new girlfriend, Gwen Stefani, at his side, and Lambert may be joined by Anderson East.

While Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert have both attended numerous awards shows since their July 2015 split, they have yet to suffer any awkward run-ins.

“[Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert] both attended and performed at the ACM Awards in 2016, and they didn’t cross paths. The pair also both attended the ACM Honors, but they didn’t walk the red carpet and performed at different times,” the insider explained.

Miranda Lambert also performed at the 2016 CMA Awards, but Blake Shelton opted out of the show.

Following their divorce years ago, Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert moved on with other partners, both of whom are also musicians. As fans may recall, Shelton was first to go public with his new romance with Gwen Stefani in November 2015. Months later, in January 2016, Lambert confirmed she was dating Anderson East with a photo post on Instagram.

At the time Blake Shelton went public with Gwen Stefani, the couple were filming the ninth season of The Voice, and their relationship garnered the show tons of additional attention from fans who wanted to see their love story as it played out.

Meanwhile, Miranda Lambert and Anderson East kept an extremely low profile, aside from a few red carpet appearances.

Goodbye 2016. Thanks for everything! Here’s to 2017… to lessons and blessin’s, music and memories, friendships and hardships. I’m ready for all. And I’m so thankful to ring in this new year with love. @andersoneast

Although Miranda Lambert hasn’t been very vocal about her relationship with Anderson East, a source earlier this year claimed the pair was quite serious and possibly headed for marriage and a family.

“Miranda and Anderson are doing good. They try to keep their relationship private and out of the public’s way. They are definitely gonna get married,” the source told E! News. “They have discussed marriage and kids that they both want in the near future. She has learned many things about what she wants and needs after her breakup and Anderson fulfills it all.”

“They never argue and just are both understanding with one another. Miranda and Anderson have couple time and during that they always give back to the community and their charities. Miranda is happy and everything else is in perfect place between her health, music and her love life,” the source added.
