Gizelle Bryant Should Watch ‘RHOP’ Again: Is She Overreacting Over Misunderstanding?

Gizelle Bryant always seems to think that she’s the word on the street, but this season of The Real Housewives of Potomac proves that she may be the word on the street for all the wrong reasons. Not only has she feuded with Charrisse Jackson-Jordan while the show was on a hiatus, but Bryant has also caused some trouble with newcomer Monique.

While on the show, Gizelle and Monique didn’t really get along, and it sounds like they both felt they had been wronged. However, Monique may have a point that she wasn’t the victim in all of this drama. Bryant had been rude at her house, and she also claimed that the new housewife demanded her phone number, even though the footage proves Monique right in that she asked politely for Bryant’s number.

According to a new Bravo report, Gizelle Bryant revealed that all she wanted was an apology from the new housewife without admitting that she herself may have been wrong. It sounds like Gizelle is always playing the victim and putting herself up on a pedestal.

“My lunch talk with Monique, all I’m thinking was that an apology needed to be on the menu and served. It should come somewhere between the appetizer and the entree so that I can have an enjoyable dessert. I’m not one to get caught up in the minutia. I don’t care who shot John, when or why, just apologize sincerely and let’s have a drink,” Gizelle Bryant explained on her Bravo blog for the show, revealing that she just wants Monique to point out that she made a mistake.

But Gizelle may need to rewatch The Real Housewives of Potomac because she called Monique a liar for saying that she had demanded her phone number. However, Bryant was wrong in her claim, as Bravo showed the clip all over again because she was clearly wrong in her accusation.

Plus, Bryant also points out that Monique was wrong in her accusation that Gizelle had told her to be quiet and shut her mouth during a fight. It’s hard for these two to get along, as they are both stubborn and they both think they have been wronged.

“The only person that told Monique to shut up was her Mother-In-Law, not Gizelle. I think this was the only time that I wanted Monique to continue to talk because I was waiting for an apology to fall out of her month. Yep, still waiting,” Gizelle Bryant explained on her Bravo blog after Sunday’s episode.

Another topic that surfaced during Sunday’s episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac was when Monique called her a trick. Apparently, viewers didn’t think that the newcomer was sincere when reaching out to Gizelle Bryant. As for Bryant, she claims she never saw a genuine bone in her body, so her guard was completely up. It doesn’t sound like these two will be able to make peace.

“Up until the phone moment I had not seen a sincere bone in Monique’s body. Last I checked my phone number was MINE, it’s not written on any bathroom wall or bus stop. God gave me something called good sense. Good sense tells me that if someone is talking trick trash about you, they should not, could not or will not have my phone number,” Gizelle Bryant pointed out on her Real Housewives of Potomac blog, according to Bravo.

What do you think of this friendship between Monique and Gizelle Bryant? Do you think these two will be able to sit down and work out their issues even though both of them would like an apology?
