More Pomplamoose because they’re awesome

I wrote yesterday that Pomplamoose could easily become my new favorite band. One day later and I don’t regret the statement.

Nataly Dawn sounds Brit Pop, but she’s American with a dose of living in France thrown in. To the untrained her vocals might be somewhat Lily Allen, and yet the comparison is chalk and cheese, Lily Allen being the chalk. She has some amazing deep tones and an impressive vocal range.

Here’s two more Pomplamoose numbers, one a hauntingly beautiful cover of Nat King Cole’s Natural Boy. The second is an original: Expiration Date. It’s sort of Lily Allen does Ben Folds, and I love it.
