Is Amber Portwood Engaged? ‘Teen Mom OG’ Reunion Exposed New Details, She Speaks Of Friends On Twitter
Amber Portwood and Matt Baier may be back together after a fight last month but according to a scene from the Teen Mom OG reunion, they are no longer engaged.
Amber Portwood and her Teen Mom OG co-stars, including Farrah Abraham, Maci Bookout, and Catelynn Lowell, traveled to New York City at the end of last week to film the reunion special for the second half of Season 6.
Although most of the women brought their significant others, including Simon Saran, Taylor McKinney, and Tyler Baltierra, to the taping, Amber Portwood arrived in the Big Apple without her on-again, off-again fiancé, Matt Baier and according to a new report, she was also without her engagement ring.
“[Amber Portwood] wasn’t wearing her engagement ring, and didn’t go into a lot of detail about what’s going on with Matt, whom she said she is still dating, but is not engaged to currently,” E! News revealed to readers on June 4.
Amber Portwood and Matt Baier have been on and off in recent weeks due to an allegedly failed lie detector test in May. As Radar Online revealed at the time, Portwood supposedly called off her engagement after Baier reportedly failed a lie detector test in regard to his rumored infidelity. While a source close to Baier claimed he passed the test, Portwood seemingly confirmed that there was trouble in paradise when she removed all of the recent photos of herself and Baier from her Instagram page.

As E! News explained, the Teen Mom OG reunion host, Dr. Drew Pinsky, brought up the reports of Amber Portwood calling off her engagement.
“[Amber Portwood] said the cooled-off couple had ‘issues’ to work on. Amber was quick to praise Matt and said she believed they would be ‘back on track’ soon,” the outlet noted.
Amber Portwood has been staying fairly silent on Twitter in regard to her relationship status but over the weekend, she interacted with a few fans and shared a couple of re-tweets about her friendships with her co-stars.
“Finally watching the Teen Mom OG episode when they’re in Puerto Rico… I want friends like @CatelynnLowell @AmberLPortwood @MaciBookout,” one message read.
“I love love love seeing @MaciBookout @CatelynnLowell @AmberLPortwood all together and just how amazing their friendship is! #LoveThemSoMuch,” said another.
A couple of other fans mentioned how they saw Amber Portwood, Catelynn Lowell, and Maci Bookout, at the recent reunion taping in New York City, which Matt Baier did not attend. One woman even shared a photo of herself with the longtime reality star.

Amber Portwood and Matt Baier began dating years ago and after becoming engaged, they planned to get married last October, around the time their Teen Mom OG co-star Maci Bookout married Taylor McKinney. However, after facing drama surrounding a number of kids Baier had fathered, the couple called off the October 2016 wedding and later rescheduled their nuptials for October 2017.
While Portwood and Baier confirmed their plans to get married this fall earlier this year, they have since been rumored to have called off their wedding yet again but both parties are staying silent at the moment.
